Multi-Boxing. Finally. The facts.

desycnh, looting options, broken trading, multiboxing are the MAIN issues.

I'll agree desync is an issue, but as time goes on, they will ease that out. That is a patience game there.

Looting Options? How so? Looting is fine. They said they liked the loot system and didnt want to change it, as it would take away from the threatening, hardcore, cutthroat feel of the game.

Broken Trading, seems fine on a person to person system to me. Can they improve the advertising system for trades? Like no more Chat Spam, and separate parties tab for 'trade parties'. Sure, but the system itself is fine so far, and I just eagerly await the day I can trade from the forums. Thats not a fix, its an extra bonus.

I dont think multiboxing is a main issue. You may feel it is, but other games have the same issue...some for YEARS and it hasnt been 'fixed' so it doesnt seem like its a big deal anywhere but in your world.

Do I like multiboxing? No, hell no. Its unfair, and the Devs said that themselves(hearsay). Will I ever do it? No, hell no. I dont have to give a reason why, especially when the reasons to do so are far better than to avoid it. But so far, they havent illustrated any plans to fix it, so here we sit, with multiboxers having the unfair advantage until we either leave, or chose to do it ourselves.

This isn't the same as encouraged or enthusiastically supported. It just means GGG knows it happens. They made accounts free. They'd have to be ridiculously naive to not realise that multiboxing would be a direct result of free accounts.

This explains alot of my feelings as well.

there is a 650 page thread started by chris who WANTED feedback on the loot situation. It is the biggest singular issue new players have and in coordination with the desycnh and lag is the single biggest turnoff for new players.

multiboxing has absolutely no reason or base to be tolerated by ggg and will effectively break the economy.

Ill concede trading isnt totally broken, but with the current forum shops, self-bumping and using freinds to bump and the fact that ingame channels are a joke id say it needs work.

Not exactly agreeing with me, as I said they are illegitimate players. They are not gamers, in my opinion.

Feedback doesnt change the fact they have no plans to change them that they have announced or even hinted at. They only thing they said they might change is the timer of the higher end loot.

And just because you say it shouldnt be tolerated doesnt make it the games law. As of now, its being tolerated for whatever reason. GGG is the law around here, not you. If there is a problem, go make your own game and make sure multiboxers are banned when they play. Otherwise, we have to deal with it. It may suck, and it may not be fair, but tough shit. I'm dealing with it too, so man up or leave.

And I'll concur, the trade advertisement system is terrible. Forums are poorly regulated for bumps, and ingame is a spamfest for people who think they can sell everything they find. But like I said, the only change we know about for trading is that
1) They are going to do something about it
2) They want to add the ability to trade in the forums.

Your opinion is moot here though. They are gamers because they play the game. They may be less of a gamer, but they are still gamers. And their legitamacy is up to GGG to decide when it comes to multiboxing. Not you.

damn! im not the law, sigh.

The devs here listen to feedback, thats why its such a great game and why it is the very best of its genre on the market. The better feedback they get, especially from established players who supported the game in its infancy and have seen multiple changes to many aspects, the better.

At least thats how id look at feedback, if i was making a game, with my law.

No sir, I do not agree.

You don't say, "Hey guys, open beta! Give us your suggestions! Oh, and also give us your money! By the way, we know there are a few aspects of this game really suck, but just fucking deal with it, or leave."

What kind of retarded business model is that?

Even if GGG is not out to make tons of cash, they still have a business model.

Actually, you are again wrong here.

If I choose to play the game, then I can choose whether or not I want to play a game that includes what I have defined as 'illegitimate players', or 'not gamers'. And if I choose not to play that game, then I simply don't have to.

I also don't have to sit and defend a company, like you are trying to do, that I don't even work for.

I like GGG too. I love this game. But there are some aspects of it that, unless GGG changes them, will leave me with the decision to take me, and my money, away from this game.

There is no middle line, "Just deal with it." Either they fix it, or I'm out of here. If I want to deal with a company that says, "Just deal with it", I'll deal with some other company that I am quite more used to dealing with, and let this indie game company go out of sight and out of mind.

You know what kind of company says, "deal with it"? The company that PAYS YOU, not the company that YOU PAY.

I suppose you aren't realizing what an impact this situation is having on a ton of first impressions, do you? And many of those first impressions are potential new sales, that may not ever occur.

50 pages about Multiboxing?

Sheesh.

You could have pushed your multibox characters a couple dozen levels by now. ;)

I never said GGG said that....because I am not from GGG. I Said that. Until GGG fixes it, we have to deal with it, or gtfo. They havent laid to any plans to fix it, so as far as anyone knows, its here to stay, and must be dealt with accordingly.

I will repeat. I am not GGG, and my words are not theirs.

If they have a plan to fix the problem of multiboxing, I nor you nor anyone else knows about it, and discussing it makes no fucking difference. The point has been made that we dont want multiboxing here. Thats all the feedback they need.
