Designing the Elder Uniques

Only the eye seems good =/ and you gotta be really lucky with it.

Nobody uses any of these unique except for the jewels and rarely the necks. It's nice that you make items with new effects, but the items still suck too much for it to matter. Overall, I'd say the design for these new items was a failure.

Oh, but you also knew that these items were garbage, which is why you made the neck and jewels the rarest.
There's an Elder in this game? Weird, I haven't seen him.

Maybe Nebuloch usable on Juggernaut, because defensive bonuses for associated charges and defensive bonuses from associated charges...

Impresence is good.
Watcher's Eye is 'Ventor's gamble' for jewels, but without option to divine his stats.

Rest of uniques is a trash, designed by people who don't play in the game.

Why not just "play it safe" and use the uniques already in the game then? The damage of hopeshredder without the bonus per frenzy charge is really low, why even use the item at that point? Even with the bonus damage there are uniques that do comparable damage without killing your character. This item has no place, which is why its less than 1c in value.

So... don't get hit, don't crit, and don't move. Sounds feasible.

Or you know... don't play with these weapons. Vendor trash.

People are willing to play with Oni-Goroshi because the degen is manageable (About 11% max life degen at just capped fire res, and it only lasts for 3 seconds or so, and as it's a sword, you'll probably be in the area of the passive tree with plenty of leech/regen). Look at the Hopeshredder. That bow basically says it's Ranger only viable (since it NEEDS frenzy charges to make work, plus Ranger gets the nice cold/elemental damage nodes). Problem is, no way in hell is a Raider going to be able to sustain 768 degen per second (assuming 8 frenzy, 75% cold res, this is about 14% degen assuming 5.5k life) FOREVER (since Raider's frenzy charges stay on forever, and well... the Raider has to you know... move... to clear content...). And I haven't mentioned there's no regen in that corner of the tree, nor is there enough leech to sustain that degen.

Simply put, there's just no way to "build around the downside" of the Hopeshredder without giving up something huge. Now if you'd remove the cooldown of Blink Arrow, maybe you'd have an interesting playstyle here where you only blink and never move (or how about letting us skip cooldown by eating a frenzy?)

No, it's time to adress Guardian Mana Interaction. For all other classes other than guardian, this Jewel finally enables them to play ES. Not OP. Guardian is OP. This is working as intended.
