[Suggestion] Button "hide players mtx"

I feel like the disconnects and rubber-banding stuff in this game isn't really due to the gawdy microtransaction outfits and stuff. Because it happens to me anywhere outside of the town, rather than in it, where I'm the only player on the map. It's an internet/lag thing, and less of a PC performance issue. Something to do with the servers, most likely.

I don't get it, tbh. Poor optimization or something? I'm solo'ing this game outside of town and I'm constantly disconnected or rubber-banded all over the place. But I also play Star Wars The Old Republic with literally 80-100 players on the maps, actively fighting mobs and stuff, and this sort of thing doesn't happen?

I've got a GTX 1080 running so it's not a potato PC on my end either. I don't have the best internet, but this is the worst online game I've played in awhile in terms of stability. A shame since this is a game I'd really like to get into. I'd pay for an offline mode.

Also, you are showing it to people, who already have bad rigs (most likely due to the financial situation), thus would never buy them in the first place. This defeats whole purpose of visible MTX already.

it's not only for showing your real life whealth, it's also to show that you're among the 10% of players that keep the game alive and running.
second motivation to show mtx is to show how long you're playing the game already.

there could be the option for low end pc - users to buy an abonnement for 5$ to 10$ a month where they see no mtx but sadly it would be a client side option which would be abused.

For those who are interested: I had the same problems as the OP now and then, but my DCs happened when entering another players HO. Especially if there were a lot of decorations.

I blame a combination of not having an SSD and only 2GB RAM. This led to a lot of memory swapping and looooooong loading screens with a DC in the end (sometimes).

Fair point, but the constant DC from main hubs and hideouts as trader is REALLY pissing me off! And yes, it is due to MTX. My frames drop to single digit in places like highgate or or high leveled hideout with ton of mtx crap.

Ahhh!! thanks, yeah with 2GB you most probably run into OOM problems and a SSD will only result in that problem faster...

i just asked for the same thing the game just keeps crashing because of those effects ether fix it or add option not showing it

does it happen while you're in town or your hideout or when you switch between them? what does the game's logfile say when you disconnect?

I deliberately tone down my hideouts every league so that I can trade with wireless potatoes. That will not escalate to my precious armour sets as well though. No thank you.

I'm not against it not showing for others, as long as it does for me. (doh)
