Lower 6 link fusion cost

In my opinion it makes sense. To get a 6-socket with Vorici you need 350 jewellers, to get 5-socket you need 70. So it's 5 times more. With linking it's 150 for 5 and 1500 for 6 - 10 times more. And yes, I agree that it should be expensive. I think reasonable cost is 1200 fusings for 6-link. It's still very expensive and a lot of people who tried to link without Vorici's help before will continue to link themselves. But some people who had bad luck before will try to accumulate currency and use the bench. And if you want to 6-link vaaled item you will just need 1200 vaals. It's still a lot but it's not 1500.

That'd have to be a pretty expensive ability and, if I know anything about how GGG devs think, probably something they'd avoid because every single fusing orb you used on a 'locked' 5L that didn't make it 6L would appear to do nothing, i.e. a waste of a fusing orb...and believe it or not, people would complain about that.

What about something like an eternal orb? Copies an items 5L state, spam fusings and fail, re: 5L via orb.

Fwiw I'm against this idea, but perhaps its something players would enjoy.

Every 6L I've ever made which is usually 2-4 most temp leagues have costed less than but not more than 450 fuse. 1000 to me seems ridiculous let alone 1500. You must have seriously bad rng if you have to go over that.

to all those who likely burned out grinding, did you ever question your motivation to play? what's driving you?

don't you need longterm goals the game provides for you?

does it matter of use a couple of fusings at a time or should i just save to like 1k fusings? does the game give u better probability fusing more in a row or is it all just luck?

what are your experiences?

I once used 7 jewelers to 6 socket my belly of beast and then used 1 fusing, to get the 6-link.

RNG in PoE is just crazy bullshit.

For people who are making builds and getting geared for killing bosses (Like Char1983, i presume) easier gearing would be fun.
On the other hand, for people who are killing bosses to farm gear that would be bad. I personally move to the next character after i finish leveling and tuning my equipment, doesn't matter if i killed every boss. I also don't play standart because having all the stuff accessible is boring for me. If gearing few characters every league will take half the time i will play half of my usual.

The problem is that alot of people already consider this game to be to easy to gear as it is. 6links are not nearly as chase as they used to be. I don't even know why 1500 fusing is mentioned so much in this thread. That is only really applicable for SSF, and even then honestly. Buying a 6l can be as cheap as 10-20c for rares and uniques never really pass 1-1.2k in fusing cost.

So you can use vorici(1500), buy it (1kish) or just get a rare till you get lucky for 20c ish. And let's be honest, even grinding 1500 fusing isn't that big of a deal anymore.

Paying 10c or farming The Blood Aqueduct will get you 6-link item:)

With my rng experience and what ive seen is that 150 fusings is quite expensive if the item is 6 sockeded, and i remember back in the days when streamers asked for free fusings with the reward "if your fusings 6l my item" then you will get 10 exalts. And often enough it said 1800-2200 fusings used.
Then ofcourse someone gotta be lucky and lower the average number.
