" love the idea, but the "double modifiers" might be OP, depending on how much abyssal jewels we're talking about. on another note I'd not be surprised at all to see a new vaal implicit such as "Has 1 Abyssal Socket" on rares? |

Catch? It's implicit is that it can be socketed. No other belt can come close with their implicit. Bet they're going to be at least as rare as crystal belts though... so I'll likely never see one.

Any wordplay was accidental. I'm not nearly good enough at english to do stuff on purpose.

I'll agree it's a "wait and see" thing. But it is looking more like a "get rid of all that old stuff in your stash because this will replace it" thing.

The amount of net gain is 8 flat life, 3 abyss jewel affix and the unknown cost of the base item + the tremendous cost of rolling a nearly perfect abyss belt for a given build.
It is very very unlikely anyone but the super elite would be able to obtain one marginally better than an existing 20 chaos leather belt you already use - I imagine it will be exactly the same case with elder and shaper items. " Crafting a good belt is pretty easy, because there is not a whole lot of mods overall. Simple alt-aug-regal can net you 90+ life 80+ res / flask mods + free spot for crafting more res or wed just fine. 80-90+ life with decent (not insane) res would probably not cost a lot. You would rather worry about Jewel you want to socket tbh. Life and other sweet mods probably gonna have low chance to proc. Will see if there will be Shaper / Elder belts. I suppose we won't see jewellry from them. |
