Black Friday

t's a pretty good idea although having another black friday sale which, say, discounts everything by 60% would result in ggg having compensate millions of points towards players cause every transaction they ever made would be affected.

You are wrong in a way everyone who talks about the value change of a MTX being a problem is wrong.
All those items we buy on the shop are one way transactions.
It does not matter how many points we pay for a stash tab or a pet or footsteps, since those are neither tradeable or redeemable back to points/cash.
All transactions at the GGG eShop are one time one way transactions that AT THAT GIVEN TIME the customer is willing to accept to pay for.
I for one, I am quite happy with seeing they make daily sales and stuff like that.

that's right. but they only have representational value. which is equivalent to the price you supported for it. if that price varies over time, your "representation value" changes ... to the lowest price it was available.

of course it's ok for most people to buy on a reduced price, it gives you the item cheaper and you can look like a big supporter.

eventually, the sales price is the real price of a mtx. it's not worth to buy full price. which leeds to people hesitating to support cause the item can always get cheaper. in real life that effect is called item price deflation and it's much more dangerous for an economy than inflation.

Lol wtf ! Inflation leads to price deflation.
Have you not heard about the ww1 or if its 2, when everyone were so rich that the money became worthless.

how it really is: you buy an mtx full price and can show your amazing support until it gets on sale and everybody thinks you're a cheapskate who got lucky with boxes or used the sale to get it reduced.

Yep, because everyone who you knew already INSTANTLY forgets the past you had with the item, and forevermore will only ever think of it as the reduced-price item, even years after the sale ends, yep.

...Or some people just need to stop being salty that they didn't get the absolute best deal on something, and don't feel as special, in spite the fact that buying points AT ALL makes us among the elite few to support GGG?
