Am I the only one who likes the double life bosses?

try kiting Titan Of The Grove for 10 fucking minutes and see if you like double boss life.

it's something many people (myself included) noted in the 3.0 Beta feedback - globally buffing all the bosses, is a terrible idea.
GGG did not listen.

not everyone is playing a 1 million DPS build or can make one, and not every fucking dull zero-interesting-mechanics boss needs to have 1 trillion HP.

that, and it outright broke some bosses.
Precinct bosses for example. Rogue Exiles who are meant to be glass cannons.
and they were good glass cannons. very tough to beat if they gang up on you.
well they still are very aggressive and still hit like a ton of bricks - but now they have "double" boss HP... how am I supposed to deal with that? how am I supposed to deal with that if one of them is fkn Damoi Tui with a Vitality Aura? or that projectile-spam one who 1-shots any negative Chaos Res?

You're seriously complaining about tier 5 peninsula boss?

You don't need a million DpS to obliterate him.
He'll die in a couple seconds to 5 digit DpS.

No. It's a cheap way to induce artificial difficulty without adding anything relevant to the fight.

On the other hand, it does 2 things:

1. Prevents glass-cannon builds to trivialize the bosses too easily.

2. Makes it possible to be doable for low-end builds without having to overbuff bosses to compensate for glass-cannon builds.

So, at the end of the day I guess one can't argue that it has its purpose, even though it's not very likeable at first thought.

true look at D3 they only increase things at higher difficulties and it's boring that's why the game is death xD well one of the reasons.
3.26 when?

my 5 digit DPS isn't 99,999 man.
it's 20k with Arc. on a Zana mission where he's not tier 5 but closer to tier 10.
please just stop ffs.

The mobs around him can act as a shield slowing you down depending on the build.
Meaningful boss fight? Boss fight in map is only dps check. Spitting on low dps build with trash reward and annoying high dps build that waste 4-10 more sec of their time with trash reward. Noob trap and exp waster.
Seriously? THERE JUST SPONGES THEY DON'T EVEN HIT HARD they don't even do anything why the fuck any of you like this shit.

Guardians are fun see there challenging to a degree.

Auto attacking with 9999 hp and don't do anything isn't special

We're actually engaging with boss mechanics now! I like that! I just wish I could engage more with the regular mobs too besides just the ones with on-death mechanics.

The rest of the mobs need double hp as well so its not just instantly and mindlessly explode screen, move to next screen, repeat.

I appreciate the effort, but on my totem build I sometimes find it difficult to sustain life/mana flasks without portaling out. I'm sure it's not much of an issue for leech builds, but I wish GGG had considered what the extended bossfights would do to totems/trappers/etc.

Many map bosses are over-tuned for the 95% player base. Most mob packs are under-tuned (IMHO) and need more HP. The increase to mobs damage/life when party playing is definitely on the low end of the difficulty range for me. That speaks volumes for me as a "filthy casual" SSF player from CB to 3.0 that now that I've gotten my 2 BFFL to come back and party play PoE 3.0 Harbinger League I'm finding that 3 players are taking down the mobs and bosses too easily. It is ok for them as they are veterans of the D1/D2/D3 arpgs and so the "challenge" is close to just right for them but for me and my 4.75 years of PoE SSF playing the challenge of killing the mobs and zone bosses is "too soft". However, the recent tweak to increase the Harbinger minions challenge is much better for both solo and party play.

Not sure that double HP is needed or desired but maybe another 25% to 30% HP would get the "content challenge" closer to my Goldilocks "just right" difficulty for my playing. But there really is no where that GGG can set the difficulty and please all. It's not possible. All GGG can do is be very good listeners (which they are) and process all feedback and tweak the difficulty up or down as needed. Sometimes GGG gets it right and many times they go too far (as with the current ES nerfs) but I am pleased that GGG is very responsive to most of our feedback.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

I'm fine with double hp bosses, makes it a bit more challenging for a lot of players and i still stomp through them in a handful of seconds lol. L2 get some single target damage ppl.
