This Game Has A Whiteknighting problem

Someone at GGG clearly reads threads. They just don't respond to them unless their statement is either a) clarification b) acknowledging a bug c) speaking to an upcoming minor feature d) telling people not to violate forum rules or d) pimping MTX.

I can't really blame them for not trying to engage the forum in debate. They'd end up ignoring 90% of questions and responses because there's no way to respond to "You guys fucking suck and you don't know how to do your jobs" levels of hostility as a professional. So the other half of the forum ends up responding for them, in a decidedly non-professional way.
"We're pilgrims in an unholy land."
What I've found is most "white knights" are actually just people who disagree with whatever complaint people have, and since this is 2017 there could be no possible reason to disagree other than they're crazy and personally attacking someone.

The problem is, many times some complaints that are valid are dismissed with silly arguments.

This is the example of things people have and responses they get:

''es got nerfed too hard'' ''stop being a scrub, you most likely were double-dipping ''
''there is a new invisible explosion killing players'' ''stop being a scrub staying in volantile range''

''harbingers drop less shards now'' ''shut up, I keep getting a better amount than before''

''the nerfs were too big, X and Y class had their damage reduced hardcore'' ''stfu, you were most likely playing meta and abusing some mechanics''

''there is more lag ,crashes and disconnects since 3.0'' ''get a job, get a better comp/fix your shitty internet, I have no issues''

Basically when you have [Removed by Support] replies, you are bound to get people angry that will reply back in a negative manner when every time there is a complaint, someone dismisses it with something as silly as ''I had no issues, therefore the rule says that no one else has issues unless their comp/internet sucks''. The whole idea of being a special snowflake.

The main issue is GGG treats the players like little retarded kids and they seem to think that feedback is worthless.

Ill tell you what 99% of the feedback here and reddit looks like.

"Im retarded, please make the game easy,so i can cope with it."

Everyone thinks their feedback is the holy grail and the second coming. Problem is,things don't work like this on a bigger scale.

in 3 days i saw like 4 threads of people that rage about how they failed to 6-link their items, and some of them even wasted all currency. What kind of feedback is this? "GGG,im impatient and can't think for what will happen if i rely on RNG too much, please increase the chance".

That's the kind of feedback almost everyone posts here.

On the other hand, here is some feedback.

Remove Vaal Pact, reduce the effect of reflect, and lower some of the more spicy damage. Who knows, this might be the start of a game which isn't only about oneshots that require VP to survive.

I know we usually don't agree , but I do agree with your post. When it is stuff like ''I wasted my currency on a 6 link and I was not able to do it'', that's your problem since it's not a game ''issue''.

On the matter of spicy damage, reflect and vaal pact yeah, those are things that are terrible for the game (either GGG will balance around it or players will focus on stuff dodging those effects and get something else nerfed ) .
Made a zarker with VP,threw it out after 3 days. So disgustingly cheap yet BRAINLESS passive. You just sit here and hold right click...What does this do but promote bad gameplay balance and turn people into a bad players...This might sound harsh but VP is indeed the worst thing in the entire game.

You ignore mechanics.
You can't die, except for being retarded.
You don't even need to think.

Can't even imagine what bullshit that was with 15k ES.

Not only the game seems balanced around this, but it also pretty much forces someone to be a BAD player, since you don't need to even try. Just sit, hold right click, destroy everything, never die.

Guardians and Shaper, even some uber atziri attacks are absolutely IGNORED. I couldn't stand playing such a cheap build.

EDIT. You know what the worst problem is? GGG will nerf Berserker and leave VP alone.

Wonder when it gets removed someday, will they remember how much builds relied on this crap.

No unfortunately the worst part is not that GGG will nerf zerker, the worst part is that they will nerf zerker, they will most likely nerf life, items with life and leave VP alone, because they will somehow assume that ''the reason this is happening is that players have the life pool to do it'' and pull the same BS that happen to ES on life.

Right, how do people not get this? Literally all extremes are problematic and should be avoided. [Removed by Support] Edit: An incompetent mod removed the analogy from my post here and made it look like I said the exact opposite of what I said. Imagine an analogy here demonstrating the ridiculous of BN8's post. Nobody likes an extremist.

My point, since there are always people who can't grasp it, is that some "extremes" are perfectly reasonable. There's nothing wrong with the "extreme" of leaving feedback for GGG in the feedback forum, [Removed by Support] Edit: Here, I said something like "just like there's nothing wrong with these two other "extremes." Attacking people who leave feedback in the feedback forum, especially when most defenses boil down to "it's in the game, deal with it," is not equivalent.

Don't get sucked into the fallacy of the middle ground.

Edit: Holy shit the moderation here is awful. I wish I could show people what they removed. I'll just say that it says a hell of a lot about how shitty the moderators are that my analogy was deleted. Par for the course on this forum, though.

the fix to PoEs problems is to fire the balancing staff and recruit the people that played 100s of diff builds unironically and made the meta , as long as monkeys are at the head of balancing for the sake of "muh economy" this game will never flourish beyond 100k autismo playerbase in a longterm , also the neglectiance of standart and making rubbish leagues every 3 seasons dont really promote any virality.
