This Game Has A Whiteknighting problem

I've been here for years, since before launch, and yes, there are vocal whiteknights. But, it used to be worse. There was a time where the game was even more unpolished, and has glaring, issues. The biggest was desync. It made the game frustrating to play. There were tons of "complaint" threads, many of which told GGG they wouldn't play bc of desync. That GGG should implement lockstep.

And the whiteknights denied it! They said it wasn't an issue. Then, they blamed the players for desync! They said the players caused it, that it was the players fault for not knowing how to play around it. Then GGG came out with a dev manifesto defending desync, saying desync was actually good, and that lockstep was bad for arpg's. The whiteknights of course, jumped all over this, and used it to shout down any further complaints of desync. That "you can't change the laws of physics" and desync was here to stay.

You know what happened? GGG did a 180, implemented lockstep (after a ton of work, of course). All those whiteknights praised GGG for fixing desync, but also thanking that they wouldn't have to hear about desync complaints on the forums.

That is my issue with whiteknights. They care more about silencing complaints about the game, defend the glaring issues, but flip flop the second GGG does a 180 and fixes it. Denial doesn't make the game better. Criticism does. The game is vastly better today thanks to the critics, and no thanks to the whiteknights.

The main reason i went into AoE were desynchs. Also i didnt want to run for every single little mob that runs and runs toward and back. It pissed me off, so i went AoE. Also i hated when i was hitting mobs, desnych actualised and im barely live and mobs i thought are dead are alive.

So i sated this issue many times. Also i still have some problems with reponse - i press key but skill is not triggering. I touched this subject several times, some agreed that its occurs and... we wait till GGG will fix it (or not). Honesty i just adapted to this. I knew that they will or they wont fix this. Waiting for fixing it is just that - not playing PoE but i want to play so i adapted.

There are many things bigger or smaller i dont like but most current complain therads are just garbage.

That amount of hard data and technical specs is just astonishing. Serious feedback that anyone can do something with it.

The problem is that most of those complains are in fact worthless.

You think i dont face difficult situations? I do. But instead of blaming GGG i look for solutions within game mechanics. I try different approach, i test things. Untill i have enought. Then i just stop playing and spent my time on other things.

But you whiners want to spent 8h a day on game and whine because you cannot get what you want - easy game.

Game too difficult? There are new explosions killing players when there everything on the map is dead, that's just bad design either invisible volantile or some other fucked up GGG bug.

Drop increase? No one said anything about drop increase, but rather the discussion about Garbringer, aka one of the shittiest league with the most changes in a short amount of time and close to no change.
