Yo fuck this density nerf.
" Ideally the Atlas and sextants are tools to personalize the game experience and cater to what you as a player find "fun". What they currently do is force people into using them abusively(xp/hour hunt). A discrepancy in xp gains could be allowed even in such a system, but the difference shouldn't be a tripling of the gains comparing non abusers with abusers. -> proceed to balance relative xp/hour gains per maps -> replace sextant with modifiers that increase "fun" encounters for highly optimized builds. I'm thinking of stuff like "one to four random mobs slain in the map can summon a unique beyond boss" = This also increases xp gains, but not exponentially, it's also dangerous since it's a random summon and could result in you fighting four unique beyond bosses at the same time due to RNG distribution. Modifiers like this could revitalize the sextant system and force it into "fun encounters" rather then "xp/hour". Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

" good point, same impression here. althoug i'm slowly overcoming that feeling of abusing the game when i use all means to make it worthwhile but even then: you could get so much more out of the - game plastering your atlas with sextants - atlas with sextant blocking and chain running certain maps - game flipping items all day or just run a currency proxy - joining a capable guild and fucking up the economy - ... problem: all your options scale linearily++ with the time invested, especially at the start of the league age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" It's not even just that, they made the game basically unplayable at this point if you want to econ effectively unless you are playing with a Biscos Collar. |
