3.0 Slayer phys CycloneR [1mill dps, 7,2k life, Shaper, Uber Atziri deletion - NEW VIDEOS UP!]

How much damage leap are we talking between a 5L and 6L disfavour? Is it night and day? I'm contemplating on whether to buy a 5L and kaom's chest now rather than saving for a 6L disfavour. I already have a mapper, what I need is a build which can push end game content which I think this build can bring me to. TIA.

Didn't actually clock you were using +1 boots with an enhance. I mean if its working for you then by all means, but i prefer raw hp for something like slayer (as I would personally go blood magic with starforge) because of how it synergies with leech effectiveness. I also hate rolling past any map mod but cannot leech, and curse immunity/curse effectiveness pops up quite a bit.

Edit: Just thought, did you do the math on taking a 30% curse effectiveness enchant over the cyclone attack speed one? Might work out higher dps but not sure!

conc effect alone added 45-50k tooltip dps(with just ash+hatred) without any quality,plus some of my other gems are missing Qty,so enough to justify the 6l,also can save a alot of money buying a disfavor and 6ling it yourself,i bought a 5l disfavor for 350c and then 6L'd it in 150 fusings,which means i did it for 425c vs paying 730c+ for one already 6l'd

Wow, only took that few? RNGesus must be good to you on that day haha. I actually tried gambling in the past leagues but did not go well so as much as possible I'm avoiding the temptation.

ive had good luck all league it seems as i bought a belly for 34c and 6 linked in 107 fusings and sold it for 500c which is how i funded the kaom's and disfavor ;)

I play a physical Cyclone Slayer myself and took some notes of the guide/thread, but would like to ask two additional questions:


First up, I am wondering, why we don't take "Punishment + Blasphemy" instead of Herald of Fire? It gives more overall DPS.



Secondly, more specific to @MisterCai (Since you are very active in this thread)

I looked up your Character and was wondering how you are able to cap resistances, or if you cap them at all? (Since we are limited to less Resistance mods on Boots/Gloves for Attackspeed/Movementspeed and you are using a unique belt + ring)
I am currently thinking about switching one ring over to Ming's heart for one of my rings, but that wouldnt allow me to cap resistances properly.

for resistances its quite easy to cap using a good ring,boots,gloves and jewels (im capped on fire/cold,just about on lightning with 76%,my character phantomcyclone is public if you wish to take a look),if you can sort that out the mings adds a ton of damage.

Any chance of this receiving a full guide all gems and gear?

I think Herald of Ash is rather to help clear faster than to boost dps.

To help with res I took Sentinel and two other res nodes next to it and socket. Dropped Diamond skin.

Im thinking about rebuilding tree a bit to get The Red Dream and 2 more endurance charges.

Moreover you guys dont need 400c helmet enchant, just go with Bloodrage attack speed for 40c and you get both boost to cyclone and leap slam.

I guess it*s time to roll some Resistance jewels then! While on the matter, do you guys still aim for ~105% resistances to Counter Elemental weakness maps, or just roll with ~75%?


One more question - I am currently thinking about what bigger change I want to do. My personals thoughts are:

a) 6l my Bronns (currently 5l)
b) Get a Beast of the Belly (Would be able to spec away from "Iron Reflexes" and free up 3 additional skill Points)
c) Save for an Atziri's Disfavour
d) Save for Kaom's Heart

Personally I lean towards Option b). While Bronns served me well and my ~6k Life wasn't a big Problem up to t13 (Ulab was simple once I switched out HoA for Enfeeble + Blasphemy), I feel like Bosses and most certainly Guardians/Shaper later will crush me. I would go for 5l Belly for the meantime (Doesn*t eat all my funds) and then save up for Disfavour in the long run. Would only loose a bit of dps, but gain ~40% total resistance and a lot of life. (Also the resistance would let me switch one Ring for Ming's, therefore making up for the DMG loss)


I would appreciate Feedback! (My character page is public, if anybody feels like looking on it and maybe got another Option. Buying helmet enchant is not a priority for me atm, since I am running Ulab and simply hope for either Bloodrage or Cyclone AS)
