3.0 Slayer phys CycloneR [1mill dps, 7,2k life, Shaper, Uber Atziri deletion - NEW VIDEOS UP!]
" Yes, this is exactly what you do. " With a starforge you lose out on a lot of things, herald of ash for clearing and damage from hatred. If you go starforge you will also use brutality (or well you should) which means you cannot benefit from chaos damage either (so promise flask, sins and retch are all out the window). Its true starforge has a lot higher pure physical dps, but when doing things like shaper and guardians using all these unique flasks we have with disfavour makes the fights a lot easier. And you won't have access to many of them using a starforge. To play devil's advocate however its a lot simpler to go starforge and just go blood magic and then use an essence worm for a free aura (though you're more limited on choices because no ele damage). Means you wont need a lot of the unique flasks either which saves you more currency. I have been experimenting lately and i think probably the most optimal for mapping is a starforge and blood magic simply because you can get close to 9.5k life with the blood magic nodes and adjacent life nodes (I'm at just over 8k with my disfavour non blood magic). TL;DR Both work and will kill shaper and guardians very easily, its more down to personal preference. I run a headhunter so i prefer disfavour for when i get elemental buffs etc. " Cherrubim's is indeed solid for slayer because of the life leech increase and is a viable option. I would however still recommend a belly or kaoms as more health still means higher threshold to leech back because of how life leech works. And if you're planning to sink fusings into something it should definitely be your disfavour if you haven't already. |

What Pantheon are you guys using?

" Yuguls for minor, can honestly swap this with any other since slayer's 50% is more than enough. But the upgraded Yuguls cold damage reduction is really nice since we're using a taste of hate. For major I swap between Lunaris for general mapping and Solaris for bossing. Its kinda what both are designed for. It did however come to my attention recently that if you're running cwdt setup you can go Arakaali and the herald of thunder upgrade will proc whenever your cwdt goes off because we're using blood rage (blood rage is physical damage). This is actually pretty huge as it affects our leech rate immensely. Its made me strongly consider switching from my warchief back to cwdt. The other upgrade bonuses are pretty nice too since we're not shock immune. |

What should i improve on my gear?

this is what i have. I am only at 6600 life, am I missing something? Could someone post a higher level skill tree with gems who has 7.2k health? |

Hey mistercai thx for being so helpful

I decided to try with Starforge and two curses setup. Damage is about the same as with Disfavour (or a bit higher), but with temporal chains i feel almost invincible.
Any tips to improve this? Last edited by Hoshigamer#1837 on Sep 10, 2017, 9:18:06 AM

"Good atck speed/physdmg ring and better gloves (your gloves is garbage use some ex orbs or just buy something better), better carnage heart, better boots (ofcourse better boots w +1 sockeded gems on harbringer - it's just a myth, but anyways..) And.. I'm enter all this gems/skilltree in PoB, and disfauvor version has something like 100k more dps than starforge (200 if take more dps nodes, what you take on your starforge version). Seems like starforge verison has more surviability (100hp from starforge or slow from temporal chains).. But both variations are very simmilar, this more surviability is little bit useless, beacuse you anyway can die only by oneshots, just like in disfauvor version. |

" Definitely at least a 5L disfavour. I'd drop bronne's chest for something with a lot more hp as you can only really run something like that if you've got other hp items to back it up. And your hp must be really low judging from the gear atm anyway. Again drop le heup for a 70+ life ring with good resists. Gloves with attack speed and more life. Get some jewels with at least life and one attack stat (attack speed is the best). Rest is okay, maybe try get a ming's with the lowest hp reduction roll. 8% is kinda high. " Can't look at your character profile but i'm going to assume you don't have many life jewels / haven't taken all the jewel nodes yet. Adds up to a lot. At level 97 I have over 8000 health and i have lower health gloves and boots than you do. " You're very welcome! " As I mentioned in a previous post, I do believe starforge is better for general mapping because you have the option to go blood magic without a lot of drawbacks (therefore gaining a lot of health). However, I do strongly disagree with your dual curse setup as curses are very much diminished against bosses unless you're planning to invest heavily into curse effectiveness which is difficult as slayer. But - if your goal is to just do maps i believe curses are quite valid (other than having to reroll curse immune maps or just suck it up). But I do believe the better route with starforge is just going blood magic as you can get so much hp from the blood magic nodes and the adjacent life nodes right next to it. " The 20/23 vuln linked to 20/20 blasphemy and L4 Enhance in the +1 boots with 20% curse effect on tree makes enemies with 0% less curse effect take 74.1% increased physical damage. The same applies to temporal chains. Bosses reduce the effectiveness of curses by 60%, so i stay with 30% increasing all my damage and 30% slow. It costs 4 points to curses and 1-3 points to int nodes (depends on your ring and jewels), not so difficult. Last edited by Hoshigamer#1837 on Sep 10, 2017, 4:29:34 PM
