" I have been playing this game since the first day of it's open Beta and yes it had changed in so many way it was shaped and reshaped so many time. What it is right now is not the same game I used to play back then. And with 3.0.0 getting closer it will not be the same game in a few months. |

i still dont get ur point. you cant sell? or you can buy? why do you say you need to be online 24/7 for that to happen?
you can buy stuff in 3sec with "poe.trade" site (online AH). and you can also sell stuff in minutes of you have the right price. (like 1c less, is enough) |

The game didn't have any major problems 4 years ago nor does it now. Over time, the game has actually become much easier to play and accessible even though i think it has gotten harder to sell stuff but at the same time much easier to buy stuff ( for a fairer price) from my experience in past leagues. At the moment I am playing SSF hardcore league level 92 so you definitely do not need to trade to progress into maps.
It really just sounds like this game isn't for you so I bid you farewell. ps : just looked at your level 89 character and damn the majority of items can be improved with just buying cheap 5 chaos items. You heard of POE TRADE ? Last edited by ninedeadeyes#2466 on May 7, 2017, 6:35:40 PM

PoE has changed a lot for many reasons since I started playing in CB time. I put up with (strugled and cursed) through PoE:The Desync Years to get to Lockstep which is vastly superior to anything before it. Not purfect as there is still way too much lag. I fired up D3:RoS a few days ago and played it a few hours after 2 years of absence and solo played butter smooth. Still can't do that with PoE and probably never will.
To Omjak_777 I can say "good for you to be quitting PoE" as the one huge massive mistake that GGG has made with PoE since the beginning is not having an asynchronous trade function. The 100s of threads over the years complaining to GGG that one on one buying/selling sucks the big one then, now, and forever is a huge mistake and has cost GGG thousands (probably millions) of players and their mtx buying revenue because there is no way to buy without having to hunt down the seller and then get that seller to stop playing to invite you to his/her hideout to conduct the sale. This is asinine for GGG to have not replaced trade chat when PoE 1.0 launched in 2013 and is the reason I have always played SSF (and the fact that multi-player performance sucks so badly). The sad truth is when you eventually come to the realization that it wouldn't take a huge amount of coding from GGG to implement asynchronous trade. All the major parts are there and only the addition of a code number with each item listed on POE.TRADE or any other 3rd party trade listing site is needed. Hell, Dell puts a TAG number on each computer they make so anyone can super easy look up the date of manufacture and specs anytime so every item listed could have a tag number. I stated how it would work easily and smoothly back a few months ago here. Even sadder is the reaction from many stating "I WILL QUIT if PoE has an Auction House" even though the way I see asynchronous trade working to the benefit of all is not a global AH and only a tweak of the current system to include a code number so that we can get into a seller's hideout from the waypoint map and access the seller's stash to get the item for sale and pay the B/O price and be on our merry way using the item with 0 need for the seller to be involved (hell the seller could be dead and I could still buy an item!). So Omjak_777 is finally throwing in the towel and quitting. Many a great player/streamer from Krip on down has perma quit and now it is Omjak's time to quit. I haven't reached my max frustration with PoE and its F'in trade shit yet (because I don't engage in trading) but if GGG won't ever implement an asynchronous method to buy in PoE then GGG will not be getting any mtx purchases from me. It's a damn shame too as I would have purchased a support pack when this happened to me at the start of Legacy League. (I could use more storage space in Standard League but am boycotting any mtx until trade is fixed.) "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2247070 |

To be completely honest it's perfectly possible to do every single content in the game with a relatively low and easy amount of trades. I've been playing this game for 4 years and nowadays it's that much easier to get items that are good enough to carry you to end game and beyond. You're not being coherent with the reality of the game to some extent. You might have to pick one of the stronger builds to be able to do this at first, but it's how I always play POE. First I make starter builds that don't require much specific expensive items, then I use it to farm for more specific items for other builds I want to try out. The game has changed a lot in regard to this, a few years ago it was much much harder to get starter characters going.

i'm not buying any supporter packs until the game has sheep. they would beenfit all players with their wonderful "bah"!!
eh, and dragons! who doesn't like dragons! i don't like dragons but that's another story. so no money until there are dragons and sheep. why can't ggg see that they're both ABSOLUTELY neccessary and would change the game for the better?? i guess. so until the anouncement i will further profit from other players keeping this game running and just cause costs by using bandwith!!! offline

" if they had to implement some sort of automated trade, they would have to make sure that players have a equal trade balance (sell as much as they buy). and did you really measure your ingame success in "dollars worth"? why? offline
