The streamers are wrong, let me give you pro tips

For those who are going to join SSF league, here are some pro tips:

1) Take all 4l/4sockets itens you find. Dont waste orb of alchemy on them, use essences instead.
2) Save your orb of alchemys to your jewellery. Why? Because you cant craft resists on your jewellerys with essences.
3)Dont waste fusing/jeweller orbs, save them to use Vorici service latter. (5l/6l)
4)Save your silver coins until merciless.
5)Farm The Survivalist divination cards at The Flooded Depths Merciless, you can get 50+ orb of alchemy per hour doing that. Dont leave the area until you are full geared.( alch all the 4l/4sockets white based itens you found)
6) Try stack atackspeed if you are using maces/staffs/axes, you can clear maps very fast using a faster leap slam.
7) Pick all unid flasks you find, even the lowest base ones, since they can be really very useful when you create a new character.

Your guys are free to share your tips for those who are starting.

Pick something you enjoy playing, and play it. Quit worrying about what other people might be doing.

If you need Gemcutter's Prisms, go and farm Crossroads. It drops the Doppelganger divination card, which gives a 20 quality Mirror Arrow gem you can vendor off for a GCP. The area also drops Rain of Chaos and is high enough level for chaos recipe viable drops.

I would advise against selling the whetstones. Those will be used later for the chisel recipe. If you need scrolls, sell the transmute orbs.

I agree with many of the things you've said, in my lootfilter everything that has 4+ socket is shown.


here's an advice of mine:

pick up every single Quality flask you find and collect them, I have a stash tab just for that and when it's near full I sell them in batch for Glassblower bubble.

it's very usefull especially in a new league when you want to have all your flasks 20% quality, Glassblower bubble are pretty rare.

The vendors in acts 3 and 4 sell glassblower baubles.

Here is a good one, "do not eat in front of your computer when playing poe, you can easily die due to lack of focus"

keep qual gems and flasks to vendor for gcp/gbb

instead of dried lake farm aqueduct to get humility cards.

edit: strategy for atlas if you are dead srs about ssf:
Collect all maps of the next tier up before you run any of them. This way you don't dilute the map drop pool of the tier you are trying to get. In the meantime use zana and 3->1 vendor recipe to get maps you don't have yet.
