Are you excited for new vendor-tier boots in 2.6?

Sorry, haven't seen any vendor tier uniques announced yet.

The boots are an interesting concept, but I think the 1 life per 10 dex stat needs to be significantly better for it to be useful.

Math:
Let's assume you're an iron commander build with, say, 1500 dex. You would only get 150 life from these boots, which IMO isn't enough to warrant using them over Blood Dance or a really good rare.

If you've got 500 dex (a lot for any build not focused around stacking dex), you only get 50 life. That's terrible, lol.

Let's say GGG ups the life from 1/10 to 2/10. The iron commander build gets 300 life (a lot!) and the 500 dex build gets 100 life (not bad!).

100 life still isn't much better than a well-rolled rare, so let's up it to 3/10. The iron commander build gets 450 life (almost a Kaom's lol) and the 500 dex build gets 150 (pretty good).

I think of these 3 options, the 2/10 stat is the best choice. It gives a dexterity-focused build a great source of life, but doesn't benefit a non-dex focused build nearly as much. 3/10 would be OP, and 1/10 is almost useless.

Those builds will run +dex boots with 100 life on them, these really are vendor tier I can't think of a single use for them unless you really hate shocked/chilled ground and don't play one of the many roles that can ignore them :P

I never played Siege Ballist build, but I think 150 Life can be really good for well geared builds.

1 Life per 10 Dex. Oh, thank you GGG! Now I can get 80 Life if I will work my ass off to get 800 Dexterity. Oh, wait Rare boots still give more Life.

Also no resistances.

This boots are vendor-tier Unique. They need tweaking hard.

It's funny how they introduce them along with 2 decent or even broken weapons...

- Someone will make 2000 Dex build and get 200 Life. Aren't this boots great?

People are over rating the Mace by quite a bit unless you are the kind of person who re-rolls the easiest map mod in the game just to get the full benefits of the item.

The mace isnt even close to "broken" when you actually examine it.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Its current DPS shown is very low, hovoring in the mid 300~, i havent run it with quality yet or know the rolls but its likely somewhere around 400~ DPS. The % physical increase is based off how many charges you have which is relative to the builds and also varies. This means it could very well be non-functional in hard high tier content.

The big thing is stun immune mobs and the stun immune map modifier. Are you really going to spend currency to reroll the map mod ? Probably not, i know im not going to scour+alch my maps over for that. So when you ask yourself and look at other weapons available for 2H there is really no reason to use this mace unless you like to waste currency. This isnt even an efficiency argument either, its just completely silly to use an item thats negated by the easiest map modifier. Soo you still have to run an enduring cry if you want to use this mace which means that socket is no longer free either for something else (like maybe a vaal skill for example).

Id use pretty much any other 2H item over this one because of that.
