The left likes to quote shoddy evidence as proof for some sort of greater conspiracy, like Trump is in cahoots with the Russians just because the Russians might have leaked material exposing Clinton and others in her campaign. Ironically, the claims have no more evidence than the suggestion by Trump that Obama had him wiretapped. Even though we do know for a fact that Trump Tower was wiretapped.

This irony can't be a coincidence, and I believe that once again, Trump is trolling the media. The fact that a lot of Democrats refuse his calls to even have his claims investigated proves they got something to hide. Even though Trump (and plenty of Republicans) are OK with the investigation (Potential collusion between Trump & Russia) as long as wiretapping is thrown in with it.

The thing is, she was investigated, over and over, and they never found anything good enough to put her in jail. If the info that came out about Trump was about Hillary, she would have been investigated AGAIN, and rightfully so.

I thought we just got done discussing how Wikileaks emails were verifiable as fully authentic. This means Bernie was cheated and Clinton was corrupt (but probably not a Satanist or a pedo). I can kinda-almost see Anuhart's argument; it's certainly true that "better than Clinton" was setting the bar hilariously low. But at the same time, the truth of Wikileaks also implicates the mainstream media (once again) as propaganda pushers trying to distract people from truth. As such, it's very difficult to believe that Trump is as bad as MSM reporting indicates. The troubling part is, with their constant fake criticism of Trump, legit criticism would become lost in the noise. There isn't room in the narrative for a solid, objective portrayal of Trump as a person; we're left mostly with Trump's own words, and that's not likely to reveal dirty secrets.

My solution to the noise problem is: if Wikileaks dumps dirt on Trump, I'll believe it. Until then, I'm not going to be concerned. Take that as you will.

I wouldn't close the book on this just yet. Prosecuting Hillary might just be the ace Trump has up his sleeve. You don't play a card like that unless it's to win a really big hand. There is still an ongoing investigation into the Clinton Foundation. Accusations of pay-to-play.
