here the thing about transgenders

In europe everyone liked them, we had cabaret since the 1920 with men acting like women, then men becoming women because of science advance. Everyone found them fun and cool people. In france we had movies and songs were trans been the main characters and everyone was cool with it.

But then they start asking for weird gender pronouns, special bathroom access and pass to compete in other gender sport.

If it was not for those ridiculous demands transgenders would still have a great reputation but this whole cry baby thing they started in the US and imported made them prone to be joked and by some assholes insulted. It is sad but when you cry for everything all the time you become a target. you can see that in kindergarden.

my friend who s 50 and transgender since the 80 s tell me it is a millenial thing. They like to whine like cry babies. They victimized themselves and the left ideology push them to even more cry baby demands.

I think you might be confusing a few things. Drag queens are not transgender. They are men who dress like women; for the most part, they identify as men, and just enjoy being fabulous. Transgender people are people whose gender identity (the way their brain identifies them as male or female) does not correspond to their sex (the way their body and genetics marks them as male or female). Increasingly, people are coming around to the opinion that the former is more important when it comes to determining what counts as a "woman" or "man", in no small part because while your chest or genitals couldn't care less what you call yourself, your brain clearly does, and for transgender people, being treated as their sex rather than their gender causes real harm.

Transgender individuals asking to be referred to by their chosen pronoun is no different than how you might object if people started referring to you as "she" all the time (for simplification's sake I'm assuming I'm talking to a man here). Transgender people asking to gain access to the bathroom that corresponds to their gender is no different from you wanting to access the men's bathroom. And transgender people asking to compete in sports as their gender identity... Well, would you prefer this guy join the Women's or Men's weightlifting teams? Should this guy use the women's bathroom?

And it's perhaps important to note that many of these people have a substantial mental disorder, gender dysphoria, and denying them these amenities is actually quite harmful. We're talking about a population subgroup which faces incredible abuse, bullying, and violence, and for whom the suicide attempt rate is 25 times higher than the general populace.

Gay people were bullied and harassed in the past too. Was their suicide rate as high as is for transgenders? If not, then maybe the suicide rate among trans is not just due to bullying, but other factors.

Regarding sports, we men have no problems competing with trans-men or whatever gender you can throw at us. Otoh you'll have to ask women if they want to compete vs biological men, that identify as a woman. Does it sound fair to you?

Um... Anti-trans bullying is extremely prevalent. Transgender individuals face harassment at work and in private at vastly inflated rates. This happens disturbingly often. There are a lot of assholes out there.

No its not just cause you claim this harassment culture exist doesn't mean it actualy does.
You ppl claim shit like this all the time look at the rape culture you claim exist on college campus ,it doens't so much false claims are made about harasment and racism and rapes that turn out to be lies just to push a narritive.
This is very hurtfull to real victims cuase yes there are individual cases of harassment racism rape etc.and they should be looked into in a case by case bases.
It is not helping anyone that the left makes up incidents that never happened and then claim there is a culture of haressment that simply does not exist.

Suicide rates for LGB individuals are still considerably higher than the general population, but on the whole have been going down as society becomes more accepting.

But yeah, Gender Dysphoria is a mental disorder, and many of these people suffer constantly with self-image problems. It's not just about bullying, although bullying/marginalization certainly plays a part. Many transgender people are legitimately mentally ill. That's a large part of why transitioning is encouraged

Fairness in sports is a legitimate concern, I don't disagree whatsoever. That said, there is research indicating that hormone therapy among transwomen leads to long-term losses in bone density and muscle mass. After a year or so of hormone therapy, transwomen appear to lose any inherent athletic advantage they have over cisgendered women. It's preliminary research, but it may help inform such decisions going forward.

E: The bathroom issue is a bit different. It is a matter of health; denying transwomen access to the women's bathroom leads to higher suicide rates.

Also i am not denying that individual cases exist i am just refuting your claims that a culture exists.

I haven't researched the topic but I'm positive there's a lot of bullying going around. It's not a "culture", it's basic human instincts. People often react with aggression to perceived difference or weakness. In this sense, I don't think people with gender dysphoria are special snowflakes. Yes, they are probably bullied often. So are socially awkward people, emotionally vulnerable people, people who have some marked differences from the majority of the group they're in and so on.

If you suggest that anyone should receive special treatment, I'll always object. Transgendered people get bullied? Boo fucking hoo, welcome to the club. I'm not against bullying of transgenders - I'm against ANY bullying. It doesn't magically become more reprehensible because it's committed against a black/woman/transgendered/handicapped/whatever person. Is it bullying? Yes? Then it sucks. I don't care whom it's against.
