I always voted for party that are at the left and that are liberal. Except the last election I voted for the conservator... the left has gone that far.

And it's not subconscious fear of a black man. It's a fear conditioning response to something that looks different than you. Meaning if they replaced the black man with a Japanese person and gave the test to white people, you'd see similar results.

On what basis do you make this claim? Even assuming your statement about "fear conditioning" is accurate, do you reflexively "fear" Japanese men? I don't. I do reflexively fear black men, however (hey, speaking of recognizing and trying to address one's prejudices). I don't know if this is accurate (there's no data to back it up), but would be interested in knowing the answer.

It's troublesome when people keep looking at outcomes and blaming racism. There are other reasons for statistics like this, i.e. there could be greater police patrol presence in black communities leading to higher arrest rates for marijuana amongst blacks. Why could there be greater police patrol presence in black communities? Higher crime. Why? Because poverty and all the cultural problems associated with it. Black and native are completely interchangeable for US vs. Canada when it comes to crime stats; there's no widespread belief that we're all racist against natives here because we recognize the real problems.

While it's easy to come up with post-hoc rationalizations for why this would be the case, the pervasiveness of things like Driving While Black and Walking While Black would seem to point in the opposite direction.

Speaking merely from personal experience in my hometown in Maine, I've seen quite a lot of people just "get away" with weed. At one point, the police caught a guy with his own patch, and let him off with a warning. There is a certain degree of leniency in law enforcement at times. This leniency can very well be the difference between a ticket and an arrest. And there's tons of evidence, some circumstantial, some less so, indicating that these biases very much have to do with racism. Or, if you prefer, "subconscious biases". (Honestly, I wonder if making it even more explicitly clear that this is not something people do on purpose wouldn't make more people open up to the concept.)

Looking at the more detailed breakdown of black vs. white marijuana arrest rates, you look at Washington DC for example where over 65% of the police force is black, and yet you're still seeing many times higher arrest rates for blacks. Are the black cops racist?

Yes.

Again, we're really not talking about overt, "Black people are worse than white people and I believe this with all my heart" racism. You don't have to be Uncle Ruckus. You just have to have certain subconscious biases. As a black cop, you're just as likely to run into the same influences as white cops.

Really, there's been a lot of study into this. It's worth looking into.

Because for some reason, racking up millions of votes in the largest, most populous, most influential states just "doesn't count". At least not as much as a few hundred thousand in a handful of flyover states.
