After taking estrogen for three months!

Is there any difference between cosmetic surgery and estrogen?
What do you want to get from the estrogen? Being woman is not defined by the size of physical parts since there are women without tits and buds in size. There are men with high pitched voice and women with low pitched voice. If it is not the physical appearance or voice, what do you get from estrogen? (asking from just curiosity) |

" All the things girls get during puberty basically. The voice only changes via voice training tho unless one wants to get dangerous surgery as the vocal cords are a sensitive area to operate on. Some are too typically manly with broad shoulders and such so they do more surgeries like boob jobs, trachea shave, FFS, butt implants and so on. Depends on the individual how much one things is "needed" to appear more feminine. Estrogen gives smoother skin, breast growth up to a limit of what runs in the family, less or more depending on the estrogen or on the individual. The cheeks fill out more, the hips and butt do too as fat gets redistributed to where women store it and muscles are reduced. The hair also changes. Bunch of other stuff. And trans women go on estrogen of course to have the same hormone in the body as non trans women (Duh). |

You look gorgeous, Deadpeng.
Casually casual.

" You are missing the point over here. However, we have no right to blame you as you sound quite oblivious to the transgender issue. We experience great calamity being in a body that is clearly that of the opposite sex, which is why we want to change it. In the next write-up I will explain the exact effects of estrogen in answering your question. |

Is there any difference between cosmetic surgery and estrogen? What do you want to get from the estrogen? [/quote] Assuming a healthy biological male/ transgender female initiates hormone replacement therapy at the age of 20, here is what happens: Week 1 -Increased urination -Emotional swing first occurs; menstruation will not occur in transgender women but the mental part does occur (For me it even happens monthly, period...) -Softening and smoothening of skin tissues happen rapidly -Intense loss of muscle mass and feeling of weakness; these two factors actually stabilize down over time. Week 4-12 -First sign of breast growth which lasts for about three to four years for breast growth to fully complete -Reduced body hair growth; reduced body odour; reduced sperm level -(Subjective to individual experience) Switch in personality occurs; most transgenders describe the experience as forgetting who they used to be. Week 12-52 (At this time the doctor would have doubled the dose for estrogen and androgen-blocker he/she used to administer you) -Redistribution of fat tissues from waist to hip and thighs and from jaws to cheekbones -The cornea of the eye thins down and eyebrows may or may not reshape depending on individual experience -(Subjective to individual experience) Change in definition of sexuality-ability to experience full body orgasm and less genitalia response -Improved hair quality and increased hair growth rate Week 52 and onwards -Chocolate starts to taste even better than it already is good -Reduced testicular size but intact penis size -Unwillingness to revert back -Development of hollow points in bones -(much more to be added because I am only 3 months into transition) Here is one of my older photo for comparison ![]() |

Really interesting, especially your last post giving information about the various stages of transformation.
I noticed some changes in your facial structure (mainly more round face and eyes and your lips seem a bit less bumped/fleshy than before). Is that solely because of the "redistribution of fat tissues from waist to hip and thighs and from jaws to cheekbones" you mentioned or you had facial plastic surgery too, or plain and simple make-up/light/picture angle? Btw you have magnificent hair, and its true that your avatar looks a lot like you :) Anyway, kudos for taking the decision/going through the HRT, strength and good luck with your personal life girl. Inundated with cockroaches, I am

Fat redistribution + Make up + Better lighting
No facial surgery for me because I prefer natural looks. I also intend to keep my transition budget below 50 USD a month which I have been successful with so far. |

To clarify my "mental illness" point I'm going to have to wall-of-text. TL;DR: Posing as if you have gender dysphoria when you don't is fucking despicable.
I. Drag vs Gender Dysphoria I don't like the term "trans" because it joins two concepts I believe are fundamentally different and do not deserve to be joined: drag and gender dysphoria. By "drag" I refer to the behavior of acting to be the gender opposite your biological gender for pleasure and/or comfort. Clothing, persona, name, pronouns; public or private; brief or long-term. By "gender dysphoria" I refer to the hatred and/or fear of one's biological gender. This isn't necessary accompanied by desire to be the opposite gender, although the opposite gender is usually viewed as the preferable option. What gender dysphoria is emphatically not is: being ashamed of one's drag behavior due to social stigma. No amount of hormones or surgery can fix that; the fix is cultural (and/or introspective). Lastly, true gender dysphoria is exceedingly rare. II. Historical Background: The Big Gay Lie Back when gays were first fighting for the rights they deserved, they used identity politics. They claimed, falsely, that gayness was intrinsic to who they were, born that way. That's as absurd as saying eating bacon or driving a Chevy is intrinsic to who I am, that I was born that way. Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-gay or anything, but it is liberty, not identity, which is the basis of gay rights. You don't and shouldn't need a label to do whatever sex you want with ANY consenting adult; it's not identity, it is freedom. But if it was identity — and many violent anti-gay activists believed it was — then you had a persecuted minority group. You could compare gays, "helpless" to change their orientation, to blacks helpless to change their skin color. Instead of arguing for identity instead of liberties, by adopting the bigots' premise, gays could use victimhood as a currency. So they did. It succeeded spectacularly. I was glad it did, as the goal was righteous, but simultaneously wary about the method. It turns out that it set a dangerous precedent. III. Modern Trans Movement The modern "trans" movement takes the blueprint of earlier gay activism and applies it to drag issues. It is primarily an identity politics movement which attempts to culturally normalize drag behaviors, particularly long-term pseudo-permanent adoptation of a drag persona, by having activists adopt a false gender dysphoria identity, thus combining the two in the minds of the public. However, because gender dysphoria is a real illness and drag isn't a illness but a behavior, this creates a confusing overlap. As with homosexual behaviors, my take is that fighting for drag normalization is a worthy, pro-liberty cause. I appreciate the intent, but my objection to the method is strenuous. Linking drag to gender dysphoria in the collective consciousness causes normalization of one simultaneously to normalization of the other, and gender dysphoria should not be normalized. Complications include: * Confused people who enjoy drag behavior feeling pressured to find their biological gender uncomfortable, actually instilling gender dysphoria that otherwise would not exist * Similarly, confused people who enjoy drag behavior and are comfortable with their biological gender (no gender dysphoria) pursuing treatments such as hormone therapy and gender reassignment surgery when there is no medical need * The funding of such medically unnecessary gender dysphoria treatments with taxpayer and/or insurance dollars * The lack of such funding of medically necessary gender dysphoria treatments, due to limited funds and/or in response to public opposition to the medically unnecessary ones * Self-aware drag-lovers claiming gender dysphoria when they are fully aware they don't have it, creating false positives for mental health professionals attempting to connect true sufferers with much-needed resources * Similarly, false negatives created by cynicism within the mental health profession, dismissing gender dysphoria sufferers as "trendies" * Perhaps most importantly, a message to gender dysphoria sufferers that their illness is not an illness at all, that hating your own body isn't an urgent identity crisis that demands professional help, but instead something "normal" and undeserving of genuine concern These are all tragic social effects causing real harm. The "trans movement" has implemented a reckless strategy which should be stopped immediately. Those who love their drag persponas SHOULD fight for normalization, but they should fight for it with the truth: In a land of free peoples, one should be at liberty to wear whatever clothes they want, act either effeminate or masculine as one chooses, and go by whatever name they choose to call themselves. Hating your own body is NOT a required victimhood currency to gain access to those liberties! When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Okay. Your points are definitely right. Are you addressing Sarah or me or someone else over here though Scrotie?

"I was addressing the claim that gender dysphoria isn't a mental illness. I think Sarah? I'd need to check. Edit: Sarah plus one other.
