This may very well be the case. It could be achieved in at least two different ways:

Without the pills Id be / used to be scowling / frowning and everyone, ignoring people and being 100% withdrawn.
Meds are magical.

Didn't she use taxpayer $$ to get it done? If true, not surprising. In US people who are incarcerated, work for the government (usually same type of people btw) are the ones that get the best healthcare for nothing or very little.

What makes him a terrible human being? His thoughts? Who cares?
It's the actions that matter. I don't care what's happening inside your head as long as you behave yourself.
You have to be realistic about these things.

If anyone deserves a free sex reassignment on the taxpayer's dime, it's Chelsea Manning. I might be against the policy in general, but I find it distasteful to bring it up in such a context.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.
