Kinda frustrated that my support went for a Consol port instead of fixing and making the game better

Since no one knows the future, the only thing to do now is to wait. And personally since I've tried to buy something every league as form of support for a niche/hardcore game, I will hold off buying anything until the game proves not to become casual/dumbed down. If it stays ok to enjoy, I'll chip in again.

I think the really valid concern is that certain things just doesn't work as well on console as on pc, so that most likely would lead to design that fits pc/xbox, with console being lowest denominator. It is true that very few hardcore games managed to transition from pc to console world and not lose their soul in the process.

I of course care deeply about any niche game crossing over and selling out, simply because Im a PC gamer with thousands of titles played to my name, and that there are barely any niche games out there right now. Every time one of these games crosses over or sell out, its like my brother dies.

Console gaming and audiences ruined hundreds of game series I liked. All because of simplification and casualization of multiplatform games. With exceptions I can count on one hand, really.

You stuck with this game for this long, and now you suddenly can't just when the game is about gain millions of more players?

And the most laughable part about this is how you guys can't comprehend or research. A year after its release, GGG stated clear as day that they were looking to make the port to console.

And if the game is ported, then the console will have everything based on the pc content. And like blizzard, trove, Smite, and Eso have done, all content will be tested in house on the pc because that's where the developers engine is located. Then it will be tested in house on a developers console to test for stability before it's ported usually a day or 2 after its released on pc.

This is how it ALWAYS works. How this isn't common sense is beyond me.

XBOX is a ( shitty ) PC by the way.

Game is great, they steadily improve. They are a company that wants to earn money, hence they want a big as possible audience.

Playing the game since Beta and still loving every hour I invest in it.



And about "maybe the money goes to console only"... stupid? Check out a game like D3... they finally got Seasons on console at SEASON TEN. It's a console port (curious about how the controls will work) and not doubtfully not being like .1 or more versions behind the PC client.
