1. Fill your atlas by 110+ map bonus (trade for missing maps in 820, host unique maps to get a payback)
2. Farm cheap maps t13-t14 with, 15+packsize and 80+q and bloodlines mod (3c per map)
3. You will find a lot of maps. Sell all maps t8-t12, Sell good maps t13-t15 but keep t16
4. After u get some $$$ buy a good gear or roll a good character to farm t16 maps and shaper.
5. When farming shaper, try to leave him at cull range, then relog and sell shaper kill 10+ chaos per spot.
6. Profit in first two weeks of shaper farm with spot selling is about 10-20 ex per day.
That's pretty detailed mini-guide here!
But 110+ Atlas bonus is really a lot. Do I really need to have this high bonus? I have 85 atm.
T13 and T14 are not really cheap at the moment btw. Bloodlines with 50% more Magic monsters worth 3c?...
When you sell spots for Shaper kill, people can ninja your Flask or Sword :(
Sustaining tier 15/16 maps is far more expensive, and less likely without a high Atlas bonus. That's why having it that high is a good idea.
U MAD?

Yes, u need 100+, 115 is preferable, every % after 100 is a gift from above (+2 maps)
You farm your t13 and t14's, i promise u will not run out of them if u keep spamming bloodlines.
Invite people with loot option 'free for all', cull shaper and grab drop fast. I sold over 50 spots, no scam yet.

Oh, you follow this stratefy yourself? Nice. :P
Free for All is good idea. If I understand correctly you also play some tanky build and stand close to Shaper when culling him to guarantee no ninja'ing, right?

For me, getting "rich" came mostly from playing a lot, especially in the first week. I'm not the trading guy that is into the whole flipping items thing, but I know what to pick up. Playing a non-meta build from the beginning (life+armour based SRS), gearing up was reasonably cheap, at least until I got into the range of crafting a high end weapon, which for this build is expensive by nature. Not having to use ES-gear and getting a decent weapon from an essence or two really helps.
If you just play a lot of maps and play them fast, you will get a lot of currency, essences and divination cards, which will equal several exalts a day from stuff that has basically a set value and sells almost instantly. You will also find the occasional high value drop a lot more often, if you do something like 20 maps an hour (including time spent in hideout) and can do that for several hours straight. In order to do that I obviously leave most loot on the ground. That includes most rare items. I basically only pick up rare vaal regalias, leather belts, rustic sashes and jewels, because I can determine their value in HO while the portals for the next map open up and vendor them if they are not at least 10c.
But the main thing really is playing a lot of maps and playing them fast. While I didn't find anything particularly valuable yesterday, I still came out 8 exalted on top, mostly from selling items in the 10c - 20c range (crafting bases, jewels) and fixed value things like essences and master sextants (made almost 2 ex from sextants alone).
Of course, playing like that can be exhausting over time and I have definitely cut it down, but having a free week or two at the beginning of the league can get you rich just from playing the game. Especially the famous 10k map tier challenge was one of my earlier ones to complete. While I hit 40/40 only yesterday, I had those 10k map tiers at the beginning of the second week.
This will not get you nearly as rich as flipping items will, but I still have a little over 50 exalts in my stash, a backup skyforth for bad times and some other little stuff. That's enough to do most things.
