I don't get the hate on flippers. They're only doing what I advise... find something that rich people will pay you a lot to do. They don't like shopping, so they pay someone to shop for them. No biggie.

Tip #1 spend less time on the forums/reddit and more time playing.

Sure, just playing a lot of hours isn't enough to make you rich. Playing a lot of hours doing the right things, knowing what sells, and how to get it... You can play for 12 hours a day and not make any cash, if you are doing the wrong things with that 12 hours...

Here was my strat: Do tons of prophecies. Sell everything I get for chaos (I very rarely seal any prophecy) and buy more coins. People will pay 2c for lifesprig, goldrim and wanderlust early on (these are probably vendor trash by now). Kintsugi I think I sold for 40-50c the first few times I got it. There are tons of medium sized payoffs (Belly of the Beast, Tabula Rasa). Even fated uniques go for a decent amount early on.

Reach of the Council from the Pale Court is probably the most reliable payoff. You WILL get the keys. You can't count on say, the Voidheart prophecy or guaranteed six-link (extremely rare). But that bow is a 1/4 drop chance, and its worth 6-7 exalts.

I really dont get the hate on flippers. This is an economy. In every economy there are re-sellers.
