Make me play the game, put in the time and effort and give a stash tab as a reward for jumping through various, difficult hoops. Seeing as the stash tabs have become so important it's a perfect carrot on a stick. Show the player that hey you need more of this, here's a free taste and you'll get some extra sales cause now they want more.

Just play Maplestory free tabs all the time yo

I always liked D3 seasons, because they give a free stash tab each season. In this game its even more needed. Then again $$ hunger I guess. Forced muling ftw....

GGG should really fucking read this thread and give a response or make up their minds and explain why not?!?

4-stash tab player here.
I don't really mind being limited to 4 tabs that much (would really love more, but the choice of what to keep is part of the fun of the game). But I really think they should add/replace one of the tabs with a currency tab of some sort. Keeping all of the random currency sorted is a pain. I'd gladly trade away one of my tabs from a storage tab to a currency tab, even in a reduced (1000 instead of 5000?) form. |

Here's the problem with single use tabs.
You buy it..and forget it. A stash tab...you could perpetually always need more space. A cosmetic item...you could always put on more and more characters. A currency tab...you only need 1. An essence tab...you only need 1. A map tab...you only need 1. A prophecy tab...you only need 1. etc. Other than for the short gain..is there really a point to charging for it? A quick $5? I can see the appeal down the road..where a new player ( or old ) needs to buy 20 different "materials" tabs because GGG keeps introducing new league items that carry over to the base game. That's a pretty cruel joke though, even if it means $$$ in the eyes of a company. You're basically creating a system ( and game environment ) where a new player is bombarded with so many crafting / map material types that it's just not worth it for them to keep playing. They'll see the monetary investment they need just to play the game at its base ..because 4 free tabs will not cut it, now or 5 years from now. They'll quit. Quick. I don't think GGG needs to hand out a free tab every time they introduce a new item type ..but at the very least they need "dumbed down" versions, that say..only hold 1/10th the amount of a full price tab. You'll still get your money, but at the very least you give new players ( and those that just haven't bought them yet ) breathing room. Plus you've shown them how "useful" having a tab like this is...so they'll be more inclined to buy the "full version" so that they can keep storing more in it. I think this leads to a win / win scenario, better than before. |

" Well now that's just blatantly false. You rally people against you when you say such laughably outrageous things like this that you discredit any actual point you would otherwise have. There are SO many free games on the market right now that have as much or far more content than PoE that are all getting by PURELY on cosmetics with absolutely zero in-game benefit. |

It wouldn't be so bad if they had a free way to earn points like many other free games offer.
