They didn't cave in when people discussed the currency tab cost. So I wouldn't expect them to change their mind on this.

Yes, you can. And to be honest, PoE is completely free to play. You can play every content in the game, there is no chat restriction and you get to group with people or even trade with them. I agree that premium stash tabs are a huge quality of life feature but selling those for real cash is justified considering that the rest is just more convenience (currency tab, soon essence tab) and cosmetics.

People should be grateful that it is that way. I've been playing a lot of mmorpgs and so called free to play titles over the past 10 years, GGG's business model is a godsend compared to those. The only game that comes remotely close (in my opinion) in terms of free to play / cash shop would be League of Legends.

A real free to play game imo is dota 2. If GGG only sold Cosmetics like dota 2 I would also call it a real free to play game. Currency and premium stash tabs however are giving a player an advantage over someone who's playing with the original 4 stash tabs. For me this is pay to win.

Do I really need to explain all the advantages of having premium stash tabs? You aren't new so you should know.

The other way round:
You can afford a pc-system, Connection to the WWW, you have enough sparetime to "need" more stashtabs. And you can´t spent some bucks to buy tabs? What´s wrong with your life?

And remember there are billions of people who have no access to the www. Or even medical care or enough water. I should better go and throw some money towards "medicans sans frontiers".

... Or access to creditcards or payment methods...

If you like the game, and want more flexibility , buy premium tabs
I for one was more than happy to do so for such a great game :D

GGG needs to get money somehow, therefore I am against giving out more tabs for free.

I know several people who do just fine without extra tabs, they just have to make sacrifices

No, I am fully aware - thanks. The thing is, the game in its core is free to play and I am sure GGG will keep it that way. People already traded successfully without premium stash tabs so they are not necessary at all.

If anything, you guys should blame PoE for shoving trading onto a third party tool like poe.trade. Without those, premium stash tabs wouldn't do shit despite being color coded stash. There is no feature to trade with them ingame without having to rely on said third party tools. Take the trading aspect away and they become regular stash, something anyone can aquiere easily through mule accounts. Put the trading on top of that and throw in Acquisition or Procurement and have access to any of those so called pay to win features without paying a single cent.
