Essence Tab free edition:

We supporters make up for the non supporters, that's how it works, now look at all the support they get, most players, who are loyal supporters bought 1 pack per league or more, now let some players get 1!!!!! Premium, so they cam also sell items and 1!!!! Essence reduced version... They still fight the currency clutter mess and gem tabs and div cards and all those %gems for recipe... Oh chaos regal recipe tabs... Hmmm

I'd like an opinion from GGG other than "intended that way"

Items that don't have variable modifiers - like sextants, perandus coins, base essences, ect should have their own 'currency' style stash tab. This should be a microtransaction just like the other currency tab.
Because I'm with the op - every league seems to be put in place solely to add a new slush pile to churn up tab space. Talisman, parandus, prophecy, essence...

Breach does not look like it's going to spam new piles of crap (other than the huge numbers of those items to unlock high tier breaches and blessings).

I approve of your commitment and good intentions OP, but sorry, no love for freeloaders, beggers etc from me. you want something in life, fucking work for it. The more money GGG gets, the better quality / more quantity of stuff they can roll out. Absolultey nothing wrong with people not supporting and just enjoying the game, after all, the more people playing, the better for all of us, but they have no right do make demands to get more free stuff. just my opinion :)

My hypocrisy is with you: people who really can afford stash tabs by cutting on booze and stuff shouldn't whine\beg,
however there are still people who "have a computer which is able to play PoE" (maybe it's their 4+ years old PC), but they can't support the game right now (yes, even with 5$; IRL shit happens, you know).

While the situation is controversial - you should consider "each side of the prolblem", GGG's and player's.

And what i see here - is that GGG slooooowly rolling down the hill with their stubborn way of "improving the game" (flashy skill particles which you can't disable, same for rain, fog, and now x64DX11 SHADOWS which they forcefully shove down into our throats) and adding the "free" content which require you to pay eventually.
Not to mention the dead horse of "trading stash tabs", yeah...

Again, freeloaders and beggars are one thing.

But here is the other thing.
Technically, a lot of people were "lured into" this game back in 2012\2013 because of many things which it offered in comparison with other AAA products.
However, GGG are cutting down pretty huge chunk of players from playing it.
How? Read above? They don't give the choice.
Choice to disable\tone down particle effects\rain\fog\shadows.
And many other things.
Internal meme "BUT MUH IMMERSION", for example, is a living proof of weird decisions which might lead this company into dead end. But it's not only this...

If someone can't afford $5 to support a game then they have bigger problems than only having 4 stash tabs and maybe their efforts would be better suited to that.

Absolutely agree, everyone has their own situation to deal with and their own priorities to make. My computer is actually 9 years old and I cannot afford to upgrade and am pretty much constantly broke. Yes, I have a lot of supporter tags, but they always came at the price, but considering the amount of time I get entertained by this game, they were worthy cutbacks to make in my opinion. There is nothing controversial at all about the stashtab situation, it all comes down to priorities. Stash tabs are a huge convenience and QoL feature, but not essential to get some enjoyment out of the game, even without them I doutb there is any other game out there that can rival the level of entertainment that can be had here for its 'price

Game is playable with 4 tabs, I play with only 4 free tabs, did 22 challenges in PerandusHC and 24 in EssenceHC, I enjoy the game.

DivCards? shit, dont pickup or sell right away if cost at least chaos

Essences? lowlevel is for chaos recipe, highlevel far too rare

Maps? lowlevel for 3->1 recipe, highlevel far too rare

So my stash looks like
* currency
* useful stuff like flasks, swap res jewelry, leveling uniques
* chaos recipe/ q gems/ few useful div cards/few useful essences
* maps/ offering/ sac frags

While some see and get my point, many don't.
