Ignore negativity. Life's too short. You enjoy your build. What does it matter what others think. 90% of the people here (me included) look through these for builds. I couldn't build my own from scratch to save my life. I'm horrible with the tree. I can usually change things around, but wouldn't know where to begin with a fresh build.
If I didn't already have a Soul Taker/Aegis EQ character, I would try it for the hell of it. And, yes, I got that build from the forums too. :) |

It would be different if my build was an absolute shitstain for damage on my minions or something but it clears everything but high regen essence mobs and bosses like a breeze. Ehh, reddit usually goes for the crazier builds. The ones that can clear very high-level content or have an interesting mechanic get upvoted, and sometimes beginner-friendly builds do as well.
I checked your build page and it's more or less the average earthquake build, but using the Veruso gloves. As a build it's not very unique (yet another Marohi EQ build), but if you emphasize the gloves and how to best make use of them it might get more traction. Maybe if you made it into a guide for how to build around the gloves it would be better received. Also, it doesn't help that your disclaimer said the build can't destroy t10+ maps. People will interpret that as saying the build has difficulty with or can't do t10+ maps, which would be a huge problem. Those maps are more or less the bread-and-butter of the endgame, and a build that can't do them probably needs some more work. I'm not saying that the build CANT do t10+ maps (it's 2h EQ, it probably can), but the disclaimer seems to imply that it struggles in mid-high tier content. It also seems like your guide isn't quite finished- you only get 4 ascendancy points for some reason, and this is reflected in your tree when you get unwavering stance. Anyway, reddit will be reddit, don't stop making build guides- they're fun! This one was just a bit more tame than usual, so it wasn't as popular. I do not think you are thinking far enough on this issue. Now imagine, one day you wrote a terrible essay in school and your teacher writes a negative report for you. Do you simply take it as being mean or as a revenue for improvement?
