D3 or Path of exile??
PoE of course.

" I dont think anyone is arguing that the graphics are bad by any means. They just arent "diabloesque" but more artsy and flashy. | |
Well, PoE and Grimdawn will be my games of choice. Maybe i'll check out D3 when the first hype is gone. I remember D2 being a terrible game expirience at first, laggy servers, conection losses. Standing alone somewhere, lag, lag end with 100 enemies appearing = imminent death.

I will say both, PoE looks really great and I believe it will be! However as I've been looking forward to D3 for quite some years now, I will play D3 more than PoE, but I will still play PoE as well.
Been there, done that

PoE has so much potential looking forward to giving it ago, some of blizzard decisions about d3 has thrown me off a bit, real money AH etc

I am not going to touch Diablo 3. Blizzard looks like Games Workshop and smells like Vivendi. Their target audience is twelve year-old fanboys and dissention is met with banning. Their current MVP for the new Diablo 3 forums exemplifies a boot licking toadie.
Nevermind the game... have you seen the people that are going to be playing it? Eeeeek! >_< |

PoE obviously. Everything I hear about D3 is just depressing. The silly health orbs, RMT market being officiated by blizzard (make money off the farmers, no real impact or benefit for the average player except maybe artifically putting a reserve on the prices by blizzard), the graphics which I believe is a horrible art style for a diablo game, the classes listed which I find boring, and the fact that it will be on the new battle.net.

Weeeeeell... normally I'd look forward to Diablo 3 a LOT.
However, it looks like they're setting up an in-game shop selling cool stuff (for real money). Thus cannot be played offline. Thus of no major interest to me, sadly. Yes, yes, being a weird nut who's been playing on computers since the very early 80s, I'm an old fart who doesn't get it and yadda yadda... but I simply don't like being forced online. |
