One thing that makes me happy for this game is all the blood. its everywhere!
But in Diablo 3.... There will be no blood because it was made for 3 year olds so all the kiddies can play it without being scared.
yeah, no blood anywhere

people really should stop posting stupid stuff
if you've never played the D3 demo, then don't talk
you haven't played the game, you know nothing about it
its like people on D3 forums saying POE's graphics are terrible because everything looks brown

I believe you mean, Posse, but whatever. :)
There is plenty of room for both games to co-exist and have equally thriving communities of devoted gamers.

I don't plan on buying D3 or any other Blizzard products anymore. I don't like the way the company is heading. From what I have seen, PoE will probably be more like what I would have wanted out of D3 anyways.
Same with me. As long as Blizzard follows it´s current path ("We define what our customers like and what not. There is no need to listen to our customers.") they won´t get any more money from me.

Well it seems kind of hard to put an extra 2million game advisers on your developing team. So sometimes you have to just build a game the way you want to. If people don't want to buy it they wont, but you cant build a game from 10million opinions and expect to appease them all. like I keep pushing for the barbarians to have on to-toes and only use toxic avenger mops, but they don't seem to be implementing it.

I'm not sure what the rules are on these forums for posting a link to another forum. I'd hate to copy paste and entire thread debating this exact subject here from another forum. Humm, basically, I said,

That looks like what D2 should have been. Nice and dark. I have no idea how D2 turned into a wow grind-prequel. Sure, D2 has some of the best keyboard layouts and chat commands around making it highly enjoyable, but it was always lacking in story, and the dark edginess of D1 was totally lost when the first half of Blizzard North left to form the Guild Wars franchise. IMO, D2 was saved by the playability, but its story totally sucked.
To which we had some agreements and disagreements to what a "story" was and was not, and in the end said the following:
"
I think I figured it out... it's not that D1 has more or less "story" as D2, rather it's how the story is presented. This may sound silly, but in D1 you are essentially a medieval Sherlock Holmes, trying to make sense of what is happening in Tristram. Of course the story is already there, but part of any good mystery is unraveling the clues as to what happened. Maybe that is what excites me about D1 in regards to the story? But nonetheless, part of a good story is an appropriate atmosphere, complete with fitting music, scenery, and dialog, all of which I feel was lacking in D2. Lets face it, telling a scary campfire story at high noon in a crowded mall will not have the same effect as telling it over a dimly lit campfire with but a few intent listeners. While D2 may be superior in many aspects, it is greatly lacking in... story, as I said all along. But of course, this just my opinion. Anyways, I guess I'm just a sucker for a good scary story, especially when it's wrapped up in a good mystery (ala Doom, Resident Evil anyone?).
To which several people agreed. So to sum it up, D2's story sucks. D3 looks like more of the same - great controls and content, but terrible delivery for a "Gothic horror" franchise. I'm not about to go throw my money at a WoW-Gauntlet clone (d3) when the spiritual successor to Diablo 1 is conceivably right around the corner (PoE). In the end, I expect to purchase PoE, D3, and Torchlight 2, and I'll end up sticking with the one with the best overall atmosphere and controls to be sure, but I have a feeling I already know which that will be.

And to the original OP question, D3 obviously.. PoE is (or will be) entertaining little game, but D3 is a whole other universe.

While I must admit that I dislike several design decisions in D3. This is not what annoys me.
It is their attitude that if I don´t play the game the way they want then I play the game not in the right way.
It would be more honest to say: "If you don´t like our decisions then this game is not for you."
