Renamed Topic to better help out people to know what Item is being referred to.

As it stands its like an overtuned version of Marohi Erqi for Bows... So you have something like GMP which can still be socketed into the gem. People have mentioned in the previous pages as to how this makes Reach of the Council a bit overpowered. Even previous League Exclusive Uniques also suffered from some major drawbacks. The Bow doesn't suffer much if any at all. Since 10% slower projectiles aren't that noticable and as noted the Additional Projectiles can stack.

And we're talking about the power to cost ratio. A ROTC is fairly cheap for the extreme power jump you get, let's you basically cheese your way through the entire game with either Tornado or LA, doesn't matter which you choose. I can't think of a comparable item in terms of power effectiveness, not even something like Voidheart which already is semi-broken comes close. The killing power level increase you get is something like when you go from rares to a Voll's Devotion in a CoC CI build. It's a ridiculous jump, except Voll's devotion is insanely rare and expensive.


i oneshot a pack of 30-40 spiders or sea witches with 1 attack with LA, you will never ever get the same result with tornado shot

LA is much much better in clear speed compared to tornado shot, if you use frost wall, you can get the same or more dps of tornado shot vs boss, tornado wins only vs rare monsters that moves around and makes you inefficient with frost wall

Lightning arrow can be played as elementalist and be immune to reflect, while tornado shot you need ricochet from deadeye and you will die to reflect

Reduce its damage by like half and add modifier something like : 30% more projectile damage (total impact damage nerf is 35%) or more damage over time or something emulating that.

keep it a good physical bow for double dip mechanics since any puncture or poison user wants to avoid gmp (but still uses because of how mandatory additional projectiles is). Also has potential for casters to somehow make use of the projectile damage, however unlikely. In short some how make it a less universally bow build powerful item, ie more niche item


that said I still dont use it cuz it's too op and im a scrub... gonna sit in my stash forever ... path of item collector ... I like my single arrow puncture...



so I just use some garbage bow instead.. x-y damage about the same for puncture anyways

Also Marohi Erqi is in no way overtuned... It just so happens that EQ right now is one of the better skills in the game right now.
replace the mod " 4 additional arrows" to "supported by lv20GMP"
This is simple. The bow need much lower base damage of around 250, not 350 with is considered the highest base damage of all unique bows avalible with +25% total dmg from free GMP.

The reduced projectile speed is joke since it does nothing to bow users, its only cosmetic function more than actual debuff.

Also if they nerf it, dont leave any legacy versions. Legacy items have terrible impact on newcomers to game. Since who sane want to play game where best items dont drop anymore and he/she couldnt get it because he/she didnt even know about the game yet.

So many pages, how to nerf temp league item, which will quite probably not drop anyway after 29.08...

It's legacy by default until they add it as divination card or race season reward and those are completely under GGG control.

So what is point in considering how to nerf it?
Anticipation slowly dissipates...
btw free gmp is 33% more damage at worst (lvl 21 gem), not 25%, assuming you would use gmp.

Because Chris wrote/said that GGG is considering puting Prophercy into main game.
Also no matter if its get added or not, the item is just bad in psychological stand point. I wonder if game industries even hire anybody who is expert in psychology because 50% + success of game is to actualy work on human mind.
