Your mistake is understandable, you only seem to stay in general and feedback to troll and spew vitriol so you might have missed the good parts.

Youre a great example of why this forum is cancer. Classic copy pasta "youre a troll" response because you cant argue against it, you literally give one example whilst ignoring the vast amount of shit posts (many of your posts included). Clearly you never frequented here before SOTV when the forums were actually useful.

Build forums ? Build forums are for people who cant make their own builds. I guess its no surprise that the build forums may seem "helpful" to players who copy and paste meta builds like yourself though.

This forum has done fuck all in comparison to the reddit especially when it comes to tools and actual mathematics, youre soo fucking delusional its actually hilarious.

P.S - Its not a generalization when you can go through the forums first hand and see all the cancerous whining posts which make up the large majority of the official forums thread posts these days.

So you start out with the premise "Theres absolutely nothing of value on the official forums aside from the patch notes". Then, when presented with researched valuable threads and information, you simultaneously deny it while moving the goalposts.

You go on to claim that he called you a troll, which he didn't. (And on that topic, how frequently do you get called a troll to be pre-empting something like that? That's the only thing I quoted that sounds like a copy pasta: you preemptively defending yourself against being called a troll.) If you're trying not to be taken seriously, it looks like mission accomplished.

Most threads in all of the sub-forums are started by people genuinely trying to be helpful, followed by some jokes and serious answers. The only reason the foul topics and posts stay on the front page is because of 3 or 4 posters who latch on to those threads crying, "SEE! SEE! THIS RIGHT HERE IS CANCER omg omg omg". And they don't ever let go. Because if they did, there would be nothing left to cry 'cancer' about.

Presented with what researched valuable threads ? Value is in the eye of the beholder. Build guides arent valued for anyone with half a brain who can create there own builds thus, its not actual valuable content, that generally applies to the large majority of players, especially players who have been playing the game for a long time because they have the game knowledge.

Content that is generally valued is x-posted to here, from the reddit. Many builds originate from the reddit or youtube to show case a build or a proof of concept, then they later on create a build guide, post a thread or video which is then x-posted to here.

People like you are only proving my point about the state of these forums when you cant even take two seconds to full read the statement youre contextually quoting.

If helpful is cancerous 1 sentence, max one paragraph, copy pasta meme feedback to you then i dont know what to tell you. Anyone can click over to the feedback forum, go through the large majority of complaints and see the same pattern which is [Removed by support] whining by people who are too lazy to even whine constructively.

I think youre taking the statement too personally.

People are fully capable of making their own builds when they have the game knowledge. Game knowledge isnt something that you need to go and read a build guide to obtain.

In fact the reason why soo many users are unknowledgable about the game and CANT make their own builds is because of build guides existing, you arent learning anything when you copy someone else.

Edit - and on a more serious note, id like to see the forums return to how they were, where people can actually create constructive feedback and can actually take criticism.

Feedback forums should be for constructive criticism, not whining.
