Guys, you have got to deal with reddit

Reddit has a lot of whiner threads ever since Prophecy, especially about the technical problems or about people scamming on poe.trade. It's unfortunate that Reddit is the only way that the GGG developers respond.

Anyone that's not delusional knows reddit is like a shit show. Pretty much all the posts made to comment on PoE's shortcomings (like the performance issues ect) gets downvote spammed so GGG dev might not see all the issues I guess? Including suggestions made towards the game all but a few gets downvoted.

Go say something retarded like "why PoE is the bestestest ARPG human beings have ever made and how PoE engine is actually the most optimized engine in the gaming world" will stay on top... that shows how useful reddit is.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.

I think youre missing the point there with your anger. Youre especially missing the point when youre failing to realize not only was it crated by the reddit, its managed by reddit users as well.

Doubling down on conflating the idea for the irrelevant hobby. Bold choice.

Them's the rules. It's called a democracy. And it sucks pretty much most of the time.

Its a democracy when the mods delete this thread yet leave up loads of threads with title like "XXX = Scammer"???

No. No it is not. Not at all. That is called anarchy.
In a democracy the people rules, and through that power they can choose to make rules that ensure that people only wanting to harm others will be punished - or even excluded.

(That being said, no country today is actually a democracy. We only have so called representative democracies (or indirect democracies) where the only thing the people get to choose is who rules over them. Other than that they are powerless).

Oh would you look at that. Posting a tool made by reddit users, a tool that was originally given out from and started on reddit.

lol'd.

It seems you are slightly misguided once again. The point is simply to avoid reddit's structure, which a lot of people don't like. Saying there's nothing useful in reddit would be just like saying there's nothing useful in the forum.

Oh wait...
You have to be realistic about these things.

I made a post about how the PoE subreddit was one of the most negative subreddits in ALL of reddit (there was some guy who calculated the negativity of subreddits, and PoE was like 9th of all subreddits in toxicity). Guess what? It got downvoted into oblivion. But its true, the subreddit is a horrible place to go if you want to ask questions or something like that. Just do it here. The reddit is just for elitist jerks.

Would be interesting to see how they react to GGG employees with normal accounts and without the tag. Nice social experiment.

I don't think the results would be surprising to anyone. Besides, how do you know they don't already have alt accounts? They might have ones in the forum too.

I sure know I would have if I were in their place.

i think jonathan quite enjoys player's reactions when they accuse his "negitivefrags" comments with "what do you know of the game" only to be corrected like: "uhmm, this guy coded the engine...?".

these single positive comments about the game here would be so obvious :)

A wild Jonathan appears and you have no pokeball, eh?

Sad story. I got all teary-eyed... (it could be from laughter but hey, who knows)
