Guys, you have got to deal with reddit
|
The spectacular irony is, of course, that people in love with reddit come here to shit talk how bad the forums are daily while those who dislike reddit simply don't go to reddit.

Learn the rules, it's the only way to exploit them. |

"Eh i disagree, some of the best tools created were original posted there. Plus the feedback is generally better and actually constructive when posted. One gander over to the feedback forums just goes to show that nearly most posters here are incapable of posting genuinely good, constructive criticism. Plus reddit always backed up alot of things with charts and actual mathematics, which is great. Always love seeing actual math on builds, skills scaling, etc. The thing that i hate about reddit is generally the elitism, and often its pseudo elitism. For example people posting neat, interesting builds that might not be that strong but are extremely fun. Those often get downvoted because "not muh clear speed build, no 3 minute or under gorge, confirmed pleb build". Those kind of comments and attitudes are certainly toxic. Many good sources however are stickied i believe, my favorite one to use is probably the lightning coil vs armour calculator. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!
Labyrinth salt farm miner. "But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years. |

" Maybe he wouldn't if you weren't so toxic? Food for thought. Basically reddit is a place where toxic people get voted into oblivion and that isn't a bad thing. If people ever want these forums to matter they'd have to implement something similar. |

"maybe if you werent soo toxic"
Actually lol'd, me addressing someone who follows me around saying i have no life is now being "toxic". Nice one buddy, prime example of the people im talking about who cant even be bothered to read. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

" Of course, he came from reddit. Make sense now? good. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.
Welcome to PoE. |

" Toxic people get voted into oblivion...? So do unpopular opinions and everything else deemed inappropriate by the reddit hivemind. Mention anything about bots/shills/vote manipulation (besides the few superficial ones allowed and upvoted) and those threads/posts get ghosted. There will always be so called shitstorms on Reddit's various subreddits and /r/all, and I'm pretty sure most of them are puppeteered. The patterns you see on Reddit if you use it often, make it pretty obvious to see. |

Reddit is maybe the worst designed forum on the internet.
And if the PoE part is run by kids who moderate the threads based on their own morals, GGG needs to GTFO of there. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

They post a daily labyrinth guide on reddit within minutes of the new lab dropping. Does that happen here?.
Another thing I've noticed is that you don't see as many miserable whiny hater posts there. I guess the downvote system works, so most of the posts you see there are from people who actually enjoy playing the game instead of from people who complain with every single post they make. |
