I'd like to know how you know it's an auto attack hack, is he attacking extremely quickly? If he is, are you sure he doesn't have 2 extremely quick weapons with an attack linked with Multistrike and Faster Attacks?

The Commander of Darkness ascendency node grants extra effects to auras. What I'd like to know is if Commander of Darkness' bonus effect get improved by "effect of non-curse auras" passives and equipment.

Hey, just changed the ascendancy of one of my characters to test this out.

The first 2 lines of Commander of Darkness is increased by Aura Effectiveness, while the 3rd line is not.

So let's say you have 20% Aura Effectiveness and 3 auras.
For the first line: 10*1.2*3=12*3=36, meaning you get 36% increased damage,
For the second line: 5*1.2*3=6*3=18, meaning you get 18% increased Attack and Cast Speed.
For the third line: 20%, done

Hi GGG,

I have a couple questions regarding damage reductions from fortify and endurance charges.
I have a Juggernaut with increased fortify effect, making it take 25% reduced damage.
Along with 48% reduced physical damage from 12 endurance charges, is the total reduced physical damage 48+25 = 73%, or 48+(100-48)*0.25 = 61%?

If it is the latter, that makes fortify 25% LESS damage taken. Does that mean it stacks additively with arctic armour's 13% less physical damage (making it 38% less phys damage taken), or multiplicatively (making it 1-.75*.87 = 34.75% less phys damage taken)?

Also, how does fortify interact with 8% reduced elemental damage taken at max endurance charges buff? Before everything I would assume 8% means 8% less ele damage taken otherwise it'd be way too op (= 8% increased max ele resists)

Lastly, is physical damage reduction from armour calculated from the physical damage after initial mitigation, or before?

Endurance Charges grant %Physical Damage Reduction - this is the Resistance-equivalent for Physical Damage. Endurance Charges are additive with all other sources of %PDR: Armour, Soul of Steel passive, etc.
Armour is calculated based on the full Hit. Whatever percent-reduction the Armour formula spits out is then added onto the rest of your %PDR.

Modifiers to Damage Taken, such as Shock and Fortify, are calculated after %PDR/Resistances are applied.
Fortify grants Reduced Damage Taken from Hits (not Less), and thus is additive with all other sources of Reduced/Increased Damage Taken.

I can guarantee this information is readily available in other threads, as well as the Wiki..

Can poison chances stack and add up in one single shot or is a hit only limited to 1 stack.

To clarify, I am playing an assassin and using

noxious strike for the 40%
dirty techniques which adds 25% to poison on bleeding targets

and i may use poison as my 6th link.

Now lets say I hit a target once with lets say puncture, and poison from noxious and dirty tech procs along with the support gem.

Would that target be applied 3 poison stacks with that 1 hit or is it still limited to 1 poison stack?
You either apply Poison, or you don't. Getting more than 100% Chance to Poison doesn't do anything for you.

Do gems gain experience regardless of the player's level?

I've read that gems gain 10 % of what the player gains. Does this mean that having a lower level yet powerful character is much more efficient at leveling gems?

If player A were to slay a monster and gain 10 exp.
If the same monster slayed by player B only yields 5 exp (because B is much higher level) would that mean the gem also gains less exp?
