Mechanical Questions Thread

So dominating blow does not dominate breach enemies. Why is this the case? The fundamental point is to build an army, and considering breaches can spawn A LOT of enemies that can potentially overwhelm you, why wouldn't the core mechanic of the skill be allowed to work? I can dominate perandus chest enemies (because that doesn't feel like cheating at all considering how strong they can be) and use them against the chest and depending on duration a large portion of the map. Why not breaches? Would you consider changing this mechanic? (at least for normal breach enemies, rare ones can get rather OP with the skills they popout)

Does Scold's Bridle with a melee skill linked to Blood Magic still makes you take physical damage? Because my old standard character has a problem where I don't take any damage from Scold's Bridle since the Legacy League was launched.

From The Baron - Your Strength is added to your Minions

STR gives:
- 1% melee phys dmg per 5 str
- 1 life per 2 str

Minions must have:
+240% melee phys dmg
+600 HP

On tooltip i dont see increase health on Raise Zombies skill

This is working as intended, you can search for GGG posts from around Breach release - it was specifically pointed out that you can't convert Breach mobs.

The "why" is beyond the scope of this thread, which is only about current mechanical workings of the game. Feel free to make a post in another forum.

currently i'm playing a shapnelshot raider and i stumbled upon some issues. Sadly I whas not able to find enough information online.
First of all I really want to know if the cone of shrapnelshot hits for pure lightning damage or is 60% phys and 40% lightning. Second I would like to know how to actually determin the damage of the cone, as far as I understand it the tooltip dps only displays the fired projectile, but since im using the cone for damage and clearing maps, i really would like to know how the fired projectile and the cone damage is connected.

I coudlnt find anything about this on the internet, so i'm really hoping for you to enlighten me. Sorry for the bad english and greets from germany.

I have a question regarding flask charges. What is the interaction between pathfinder master surgeon ascendency, surgeon's flask (prefix), increased flask charges gained/increased charge recovery stats?

For example, if I have a surgeon's quicksilver flask with 100% increased flask charges gained from my equipment, I would gain 1 charge from flask mod, 1 charge from PF ascendency, and times by 2 with increased flask charge which totals to 4 gained from 1 crit?

Hi!

I have a simple question:

I'm using tornado shot and trying out drillneck, but I didn't commit any pierce chance yet (except for the quiver itself).

I want to know: is the dps tooltip already including the 50% projectile damage? (since the first form of the skill has 100% projectile piercing)

hey guys does anyone know when the status ailment takes effect on the monster in terms of damage calculation with shock for example, is it before or after the hit of damage?
