This build has a lot of defense because it doesn't really need more dps. With GG gear it might make a difference, but even by dropping auras and curses and going for damage instead you would only save a few seconds at most.

Hello, I am done with my gear, I bought everything that I could for the best price and in the end I am 5% short on every resistance, now is it worth spending the 2 points in Faith and Steel to have them maxed or Warlord's Mark will cover for their shortage?

you can always use 10% elemental resist jewels on one of the jewel socket. But faith and steel seems pretty worth. and kev even recommends at the bottom of the leveling guide.

Just bought essence of spite for 1 alchem and crafted it. It's good for our build or should i try get 2x res and es?

If you cap resists with that then it's fine. If not, scour it and use another essence of spite. Also, the crafted mod is useless with this build.

I crafted this mod for HOWA build. Had offer 2 ex already. :P

For this build it's better to just scour-spite-scour-spite till you get something good. Int is guaranteed and getting ES + 1 res is easy. 2 res isn't that hard, though you will have to put some currency on buying the essences. And time, because lucky you if you can buy one from the first 50 in poe.trade...

I found the amulet en crafted the belt but they seem really good for HOWA
Would 1ex for the amulet and 2ex for the belt be a good price?


The belt im using right now cost me 44c

HC Uber Atziri and Shaper farming? I would not recommend this build for that. Deaths happen. This is a facetank build. To do that stuff in HC without ever dying you need a build that does all the damage for you while you are free to run around and dodge. And preferably something cheap too so that whenever you do die you just lose the leveling time. Something with totems probably.

Crazy expensive?? My chest armor was 4 ex and Astramentis 1 ex (bought 11/81, 2 Blessed and 2 Divine later it's 16/96), that's it for the expensive part. Boots and gloves with 150 es, Int and some resists are not expensive at all, I picked them last to finish the resists after everything else was done. Crystal belt you buy a 30c base and a few Spite essences and roll it until you get 2 res mods. I got lucky to get one with an open prefix to add movespeed, but that's luxury. WI 1c. 14% Black Sun 5c. Doedre's Damning 2c. Perandus Signet 15c. I don't even have any jewels better than 15c.

So then I killed Uber and she dropped a Disfavor, and all that is instantly paid for itself.

If that's crazy expensive - don't even look at the endgame builds that recommend having 10k+ ES and 6L :)

A couple more updates and a video coming later tonight when I get to lv 92 and do the Shaper again. I did him a few times at lv 89 right after Uber Atziri, but that felt a little bit too rippy for my taste, always some random thing would go wrong and I'd die 1 or 2 times. At 92 with another jewel it should be painless enough for a video.

Going to also include Doedre's Scorn as a leveling item. And Vigilant Strike instead of Fortify - it's not hard to target at all after the recent patch where they improved single target skills.

Hey mate, started with PoE recently as a new player, really liked your build and heavily invested myself into the game to build the character. It's been going great, however now i'm somewhat stuck at Shaper after killing guardians without big issues. It seems like my damage is just not enough. My tooltip DPS is about 2-3k lower than what you have in your screenshot.(i've just under 6k DPS with golems up (ice+fire). Could you please check my gear and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'd be so grateful.

Edit: The only thing I can think of is that i'm somewhat lower level and have yet to get 2 more jewels + some 50 int from the tree, but my int is still 1553 already.
