[2.6] The Curse Whisperer - Tri-Curse CI Whispering Ice Elementalist - Viable for Everything
" Have you tried wearing a Doedre's and testing it out for yourself? I get about 500 more ES but my I do lose out on 108 int. Damage seems to be nice with the curses up. Maybe someone else can test it out. |

someone told me it's good idea to get movement skill to faster map clearing
lighting warp - less duration - faster casting - rapid decay it is worth it to have it? i dont use leap slam actually right now |
|
|
I will be using a similar setting later on, i personally feel like i dont need fortify. I already played this build several leagues before and tankiness was never an issue. I guess its personal preference.

|
" Ah, my bad! |
|
" Does the % damage per curse work? because 60% damage (with 3 curses) is HUGE, and could easily make up the difference between doedre's and black sun. |
|

I actually try it on legacy now. I get + 700 ES and the dmg seems fine. I will try to calculate with path of building, dont know if black sun crest is better at a certain gear level. for me the doedre is acually better at this moment.
a huge plus is also the non reduced light radius :D |

Never mind, solved my problem, thanks!

So...totally new to the game but decided to roll this build for my first character partially because I really like the playstyle and partially because it's throwing up nostalgia back to my blizz Sorc in D2.
Anyways, what're the best ways to procure the gear that I need? Specifically, Whispering Ice, Astramentis, Fertile Mind, and my Agate Amulet and Cobalt Jewel? If I find a amulet/jewel without the necessary modifiers, is there a way to re-roll them? |

question I got doedres daming and perandus signet should I not be using both at the same time?

" Great call. That helmet is obviously much better than BSC. But this thread - OP included - is full of posters with closed minds. You'll get a bunch of pushback - ignore this. Scorn gives up to 80% increased damage And a bunch of ES Good luck matching that with BSC Int gives 2% base damage per 10 intelligence from Icestorm and 1% increased damage per 10 intelligence from the WI staff. Meanwhile, a perfectly rolled DS gives 80% increased elemental damage (assuming 3 curses active on target) and a ton of ES. DS is easily much better than BSC except for hexproof maps/mobs. ============================== But... I've found this thread full of posters who take positions and defend them at all costs. Opening poster is among them. So pretty much trust your own calculations/intuition - OP and many others are too invested to give objective opinions. |
