Question would this helm be better than The Black Sun Crest? You get more energy shield and we're rocking 3 curses.

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new and I've been trying to put this together. I'm a bit confused on the 2.6 updates.

Guide was updated and states: "2017-03-02: Updated for 2.6. Replaced the nerfed Pyre and 1 gem with Cold To Fire, Avatar of Fire and a good ring."

Just making sure since I'm only 4 points away from Avatar of Fire, I am still picking up this skill, Right?

And for leveling purposes, would it be a waste to use Pyre along side Cold to Fire & Avatar of Fire until I can afford the Doedre's ring later on? Or should I go ahead and pick up Pyre till I get to that level and can afford that curse ring?

If you're putting it that way, with Doedre's Scorn you're also getting +2 to your curse gem, Warlord's Mark and you're getting almost 60% increase in damage with 3 curses up. Not to mention a big increase to your energy shield.

what??!!?

the %increased int mod from a black sun will in most cases give enough additional int to make up for the 150ish base ES that doedres would otherwise provide. and ofc doedres does NOT increase our damage.

Well you scale energy shield and dps by your int which black sun crest gives alot. warlords mark level gives you 31% chance for enduracne charge on kill instead of 30%, so pretty worthless.
