Soo these weapons with resolute technique...

So ive dedicated my time, pasionatelly, to link my marohi enqi. I remember buying one for 1c, and then another one with almost perfect stats. So it comes to my mind "i will make an awesome groundlamer when i get my marohi with 6links" (7 for me). So day after tried some jews to first get the 6s. Luckily got it, awesome! Next step: 6l it. The day comes to finally get it



And tried various skills and set ups. The most dmg i think its earthquake, around 200k and the others 100k. But the clear speed is awful, have some mana issues, not comfortable play, but you can carry on.

Thats not the problem, i think i somehow made it work, both ground slam and eq.
The problem is this build coc slam (others too, make you ask why are you keeping playing your shitty build)... why even bother tring anything else, when you have resolute in one weapon, critical, spells, the clear speed is... Even a witch can go around rekting everything as melee, even those lv 15 maps combined with sacrifices... making look any melee like fucking bulshit. And here i am, sucking with my 6l marohi :D
Spending mana? Nope, you get those linked skills automatically not even raising your trigger skill gem mana consumition. Spending nods in accuracy or resolute? HELL NO, we have those op "enemies cant evade your shit", so we can play crit builds and do ridiculous damage ;DD

I know i am noob, but why this? I just want trash everything. I am not trying anymore making the character and playstile i want, i will just google "best clear speed poe character" and carry on. There is absolutly no point to try to improve your favourite character when you can google what i mentioned and make the meta builds.

From tanks going rampage on any map to this. The more i know this game, the more i get disapointed.

Hum try Groundslam + multistrike + faster atk + phys damage + fire damage + blood magic or elem weapon damage if you got mana leech.

With this if you don't have fast clear speed you got a real issue somewhere =)

The cast on crit trigger gem is really a blight upon this game.
It is a neat concept that has just gotten so out of hand, it's kind of depressing.
Crit in general is just getting more and more disgusting with every patch. No need to invest in any defenses when you can just get absurd damage and vaal pact, and use a couple of BiS uniques (coil, taste etc.) to save yourself from one shots.
Really gets to the point to where like you say, you see this shit and wonder, why do I bother playing anything else?
For my own personal fun? Wish it were that simple. If the end game wasn't gated behind mounds of currency needed to roll your maps, that reason could pass.

Coc, vaal pact and crit in general is long overdue for some serious rebalancing.

I had a groundslammer using that weapon in the past and with a 5 link it cleared reasonably well. It was a stun build so I wasn't as focused on damage, but it cleared pretty fast using Herald of Ash. Stuff burnd to death behind me as I kept moving.

All the questions about "why should I bother with X when I could Y" boil down to "why bother doing either?" Do it because you enjoy it or don't. Do both. Have a blast. Try both out and find out which is more fun.

No. Didn't have a prolif build. The overkill on Herald of Ash plus all the AoE nodes were enough.
