Just sold a +2 Spark Projectiles Devotos i got on my first try enchanting, seems fine to me.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

agree, its absolute horseshit if you run the lab for 1-2 certain enchants. the time you spent in the lab feels like completely wasted.

this is complete and utter nonsense. helmet enchantment is in no way required, again. PERIOD. just like getting to 100 is completely and utterly not required, and a build at 90ish can do anything that the build at 100 can do.

PVP ? LOL. the only PVP that is actually considered in this game is low level pvp. shouldnt you, by this time have done *some* helmet enchantments, realize that a helmet with enchantment cannot have a level requirement lower than 54 ? which makes a helm with an enchantment completely unusable in competitive pvp ?

the other point that is hilarious- the irony- in that you call grinding 'time wasting useless grind' and yet you have all 'challenges' completed in this league.
some of the 'challenges' in this league are pure grind- such as full clears of pre-map areas and some are brute forcing, things like coin guardians and the rare caches.
so basically, you 'wasted time' doing something you dont consider fun all to get that 40/40 number. LOL. that sounds absolutely and utterly pathetic, since by your logic you are the 'sadist'. at least I like the grind, but you hate it and still have to do it because youre fascinated by reaching everything that game has to offer.


this is hilarious, similar how steam achievements lovers do shit they hate doing just for that achievement.

me, Id love for any game out there to offer something that is extremely unrealistic to achieve and watch with delight as 'completionists' such as yourself squeal in rage. and fuck any and all steam achievements.

I agree the helm enchant system needs to be reworked. I'm currently at 30 hours of lab grinding and haven't rolled a single enchant beneficial to my build.

(someone already suggested that i think..)

I think it's kinda balance, if you have an almost perfect helmet you don't REALLY need an enchant, but you can start with an enchant and craft it to your liking?

Really seems like the problem is wanting to have everything because it's deserved ... maybe they don't want it that way, but want people to take decisions.

Disclaimer: Still working my way to merc lab/maps, so i guess many won't consider my opinion anyway ^^

Edit: Or enchant some stuff and then make a build upon it? ^^"

GGG put randomness on a really high sky level.
I'm a fast runner. Saturday & sunday i ran 6 hours, 6 hours each day for someone who need his enchant.
4-5 mn par run, let's say 5. It's ~70 runs par day, total is ~140.

I did the same for my helm for my 2 toons. Never got the enchantments i would have. Only enchantments near those i wanted.

I really like to farm in RPG or MMO, but enchants are not like "if you're unlucky to 6L an item, farm for 1500 fus and 6L with Vorici", it will be fucking long but you will get your 1k5 fus within 6 months". This is probability and i'm not maths friendly but it could take a life to get the enchant you want.

We got a lucky-based solution : run the lab and get the enchant you want.

Maybe we need a farm-based solution.

This is what vox and crew did in new leagues to make currency, i did about an hour of this in standard and made about 3.5ex on my luck, (ilvl 83 hubris +2 molten projectiles and +25% ts damage alpha howl)
prob is it doesnt solve needing something on a specific helm/unqiue helm.
