The many skill reworks, tweaking and smoothness of gameplay, and the large number of challenges to accomplish made the 'core game' feel more fun than in previous leagues, but if you take all this away you will probably find that talisman was too grindy and had too little impact.
Still, if this is not true then kudos to you, we're all different :)

One's experience doesn't reflect what most experienced so far.
I played THC for one month at most, got 21 challenges done and left right after,
came back 2 weeks later just to find out most of my friends left the league too
for pretty much the same reasons OP as stated.
Beside the challenges that I don't agree with what OP said
the rest of the content was just bad.

So he\you defends his claim by saying he had fun. I mean thats great and all you had fun, after all its a game. But you might have had more fun if lets say you had a really good unique drop for you or really good map RNG wearas the factors in discussing the league as a whole has to remove the overall RNG you had and look deeply at what the leauge did and how it interacted with your gameplay.
Furthermore I don't know if you played in SC or HC, if you built around the unique(s) or just went meta chaos, I mean anything that isn't specific to the design of the league itself could just be applied to any league that would have went on with this tree and the RNG you received. The only part that is relevant is if you did get a GG talisman and if so how hard did you work for it. All other aspects of the part you had fun with really isn't relative to a conversation specifically referring the the league design.
Instead you insult my assessment and anyone that agrees with the notion the league design as a whole really failed by giving GGG unrelenting support, most likely because you were blessed by RNG. Not exactly a fair mindset to discuss something that should remove that aspect and look at the bones of the league.

You still haven't explained WHY the league was fun for you, its actually an important part of the discussion and instead of contributing anything useful you just sling bullshit stuff around like too bad for you.
No too bad for you because I'm not upgrading or purchasing supporter packs if the leagues are shit. Judging based on your current little badge I give a lot more money then you do and more often, but I can't reward shit leagues with additional money, like I said before if I don't play the 1 league idea they are presenting then I'm just not really playing PoE because playing in standard or perm HC is really a joke at this point.

mhmmm let's see I liked I enjoyed talismans because it was an original and new mechanic to the game. it introduce some sweet news monster mods and some exotics amulet with neat powers. And I really loved it. Plus we got an extra boss to fight and some new uniques items themed around it. I'm sorry you didn't seems to enjoy the league, but I can tell you I really had fun playing it :3
and I put around 200-250$ in the game since I started playing it, and I intend buying more stuff around, since I really love it and looking forward the next expansion.
