Ascendancy Changes to Zana's Maps

She used to give 75-77 dailies.

Then they raised all map levels by 2, increased the highest map lvl by 4 and nerfed Zana by 2.

So they effectively massacre nerfed Zana way into the realm of pointlessness.

Now they give her a buff but she's still effectively worse than before they nerfed her and still firmly in pointlessnessville.

The new Zana-mod is laughable. Why I gonna buy a xlvl map off Zana for whatever stupid price, use 10 chisels if i want to chisel it, aug it and regal it, so the small amount of quantity it will have is now also rarity: When I can take any old white map, use only 4 chisels, and alch the fucker for a better all round map?

"Oh, hey, lemme throw [sell price] + 10 chisels, + aug + regal + 3 exalts at this grotto cuz I'll get some rare items to ID for some alteration shardzzz!!!"

Having to dismiss, travel to town, and then invite each master gets annoying really quick when you have to do it every day.

Granted, it's only a minor annoyance, but it's completely pointless, and I'd think it would be very easy to change, since Leo already works this way.

The people complaining about not getting past mid-tier maps are not going to have a big overlap with the people who level Zana to 8. It takes a ridiculous amount of time to get Zana to 7, let alone 8. I really don't see this change having any effect on that unless they drastically decrease the amount of time it takes to level Zana.

I'm also really surprised at how terrible and unrewarding the new signature mod is. In the best case it's going to be negligibly better than just running an alched map, but at a higher cost. The previous one was at least worth running occasionally just for the nostalgia of seeing an Invasion boss.

Assuming no other changes are coming such as faster master progression rates or more map drop nerfs, this was a very disappointing change all around. Plus, if they do nerf map drops in order to make Zana maps less pointless once you finally grind her up, then we all to deal with even more terrible map drops again.

I really hope they're taking this opportunity to link master progression to character progression, and you'll unlock new master levels as your character levels. This way Zana would at least be able to give you maps when they're level appropriate, and not when they're giving 3% XP.
so buying maps from zana will be a thing someone might actually do from time to time. the daily lv will be back to where it used to be and zana's mod finally being useful as in adding some rarity to a map that is augmented and regaled, so you get like 20 rarity + map device quantity and quality I'd assume?! if it costs like an alchemy it will be fine I guess.

still the reputation needed for zana lv8 won't be lowered? too bad... so people will continue needing to do rotations every day and buy daily spots, since it's basically impossible to get her to level 8 in a 3 month league on your own.
