Last Stand
After taking a lethal hit, your HP is instead set at 1 and you become invulnerable for a few seconds. Health must be restored fully before Last Stand can activate again.

Horde

Ashen Skin

Unburdened
Cannot wear body armor. Allows you to wear x additional ring(s) and y additional amulet(s).

Divine Intervention
Upon taking a lethal hit, has x% of restoring your Health and Energy Shield to their maximum, and increasing your movement speed by y% and damage by z%.

Mana Shield
Disables Energy Shield. Damage against you is depleted from your mana pool. When your mana is depleted, damage will be drawn from your health instead.

Bloodthirsty:

40% slower recovery from health flasks
[40% slower recovery from mana flasks]
40% less life regeneration
[40% less mana regeneration]
50% faster health regeneration from leech effects
[50% faster mana regeneration from leech effects]

Numbers can be tweaked, modifiers in braces are optional.

Overall this may be hard to balance due to instantaneous flask mods. In that case, another option would be to reduce the amount of health gained from flasks — which probably makes a lot more sense anyway.

Quality over quantity dude. MANY of those are absolutely TERRIBLE.

This actually applies to many people here, not just him. Think of some good passives people! Don't just spit them out like you getting paid for a job where there's no quality control.

Master Eye
For every 10 points of INT you have, you gain 1% to item quality and quantity.

Graceful Dancer
For every 10 points of DEX you have, you gain 1% to movement and attack speed.

Head Thug
For every 10 points of STR you have, you gain 1% to melee and melee skill damage.
(Cleave would be boosted, Ice Spear not)

Gladiator
For every 10 points of STR you have, you gain 1% to melee damage
For every 10 points of DEX you have, you gain 1% to attack speed

Pious Cleric

This is an important part of the brainstorming process to understand.

While there needs to be a little more quality control because of the thread setup and because it is the internet, it is inherently valuable to have a large number of ideas that are failures such that the fragments of those ideas that are successful can be built upon one-another.

Even if any specific idea was poor, the idea that you have stat-scaling passives can be expanded upon. Several examples were given to give a framework to work upon.

Same with weighted elemental resistances.

Same with Auras.

Same with packaged weapon/armor kit keystones.

Even if any specific idea is poor, the existence of those ideas to further understanding of what is possible cannot be denied. Admittedly, it is almost worth it to have a 'good' thread, where people quote specific keystone proposals from other people that they liked, but that is besides this point.


Blunt Initiative
When using a mace, you always stun enemies at 100% health. You never stun them otherwise.

Elemental Blows
When using a mace, you no longer deal physical damage. All elemental damage you deal is increased 50%.

Ornamental Weapon
You no longer deal Weapon damage when making attacks. Attack skills have +100% Attack speed, duration, and -50% mana cost.

Indirect Spellcraft
Your spells no longer deal their base damage. Spells gain a +100% chance of ignite, shock, and freeze effects.

Blood to Power
Whenever you would recover health by flask or health-leach you instead recover mana. Gain 1% health regen per second.

Fell-Blade
Your attacks deal 200% damage if it would kill the enemy, otherwise they deal 50% damage.

Burst-Casting
Any time you would first cast a spell, you are immobilized for 3 seconds. At the end of this 3 seconds, all spells cast within the duration are finished simultaneously. +50% armor and evasion during this period.
Double edged shield
Your blocks don't prevent any damage but reflect it to the attacker.

Best defense is offense xD


Cautious technique
-25% attack speed, always hit.

An alternative to resolute technique, I would put it somewhere in the templar area.


Adrenaline
Evading provides 1 frenzy charge, frenzy charge duration reduced by 75%.

An alternative to blood rage for melee rangers and something to do with evasion.


Strategist
-50% life
-50% es
+50% minion life

Artic Armor
10% chance when being hit to cast level 10 ice nova (no cast time).

Brute Bash
Critical hit with two handed meele weapon cause explosion on hit.
This explosion deal dmg equal to the attack that crited in medium area and have strong knockback.
Critical rate and damage reduced by 30%.

Counter Crush
When you loose over 25% of your totall HP from a single hit ,your next attack is guaranted critical hit with 40% increased critical damage.

Demon's Dart
For each enemy attacking you ,your chance to evade increase by 4%.
Armor and Energy Shield reduced by 50%.

Elemental Edge
When attacking with sword ,axe or dagger there is small chance to cast random spell.

Foil Flurry
When wearing foil type weapon ,your first attack on opponent deal 50% bonus damage.
Your first attack cant critic.

Great Gift
Increase all skill gems level by 1.
Reduce gems expriance gain from 10% to 6%.

Holy Helper
When your HP drop down to 20% ,summon an angel to fight by your side for 30 seconds. This effect can occour once per 300sec.

Inner Instinct
Grants night vision ,also minimalize reduced vision effect due to low HP.

Jungle Jester
Interaction objects (boxes ,chests ,barrels etc.) cause fear to nearby animal type enemies when used by player.

Knuckle King
Increase damage with claw type weapons by 20%.
Reduce damage with any other weapon types by 20%.

Lich's Lair
Increase amount of maximum summons of Raise Zombie skill by 2.
Each time you use summon spell ,you summon 2 mobs instead of 1 (even from one corpse ,also wont raise monsters above your cap).
All summons that wander off your vision range are automaticly unsummoned after 4 seconds.

Lets add to that:

Teh Button is Pushed
If you are logged into the game, and one of the Devs start the 'Restart Realm' process, your character will get a permanent +10% to all stat once the restart is finished.

Physical attacks made against you have a 5% chance to summon an illusion of you with 300% of your Maximum HP. Your illusion will pull threat of those around it. Upon illusion death, enemies gain 1 charge of Frenzy.

Woodland Beasts [to go along with Iron Grip, a strength based arrow/wand build]

Projectile attacks have a 5% chance to summon a beast to your side for a brief duration. Beasts' armor, health, and damage scale with your strength. Maximum 3 beasts.
