The whole premise of the game revolves around survival using whatever means necessary. That's why GGG left trade without structure. They want to see how methods (shady or otherwise) grow organically. No it would be so fun, when I was playing D2 I was constanly doing things like that, and there was some guilds who were chasing players like me all over. I was being hunted. So you could be starting a game "need help to kill Andariel" and five minute later it would turn into the most random warefare zone.
