I just bought this thinking it will work with Bladefall. Problem is, im only lvl 40 so I can't check it out. Can anyone verify it for me?

Not sure what your question is exactly but:

Phys and Trap damage will apply to Bladefall.
You can get a power charge from Bladefall traps.
Any gems you slot into the shield will support Bear Trap (e.g. Added Fire, Trap Damage, etc.)

Edit: Small note to OP, on your final tree you accidentally have a claw node taken. Build should be: this.

Hello,

I wanted to ask why are you using Trap and Mine Damage instead of Fire Penetration linked to Firestorm?
Shouldn't fire pen be better?
How do you cast Hatred + Herald of Thunder + Herald of Ice at the same time?

Didn't see any aura nodes or mana reduction ??
IGN - Duck_Ya
Do you think this is atziri viable?
so far it seems pretty strong :)
I wanted to share some thoughts on scrapping the crit idea altogether (possibly until very lategame) and focusing more on the phys>chaos dot synergy. The damage scaling of the poison DoT combined with the increased phys/poison/duration passives available will scale very well, and don't tie up three armor pieces dedicated to running different trap setups.

Aznrage's build touches a bit on the idea I've had, and his seems to be working out pretty well. I wanted a modified build more like yours that focuses on defensives. Linking here for reference: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1511356

I think that the deerstalker boots+Jaw of agony would serve as BiS items until the late game where you'd be looking to work a 6L for bladefall trap.

Here's the build below. With the remaining points you have the option of speccing into the force shaper cluster, more AoE in the witch area, or simply picking up the few crit nodes that are available along the pathing here.

Tree at 87:
https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAwYABAcEswW1BnAHHgthDkgOXBEvEZYWbxa_Gmwe8B8CJKomlSsKLR8yGDLRNZI2PTbFNuk6WDrhPAU8LUVHRX5FnUlRTLNN406fUzFTUlVLVcZd8mHiYqxkqmjyajZqjGr6bIxwUXZvdoJ6f36wf8aCHoNfg8yD24RvhTKP-pUglS6a4JuGnaqdrqIAoqOi2aZXpwivbLDYswO0xbTRtUi3Prd1wGbB88Lsxq7IDMgU1ELYJNhU2L3bC9vn42rrY-vu7BjuFe988B_w1fJF9W_3wf4K_o8=

This tree also approaches close to 200% increased life, which is what you'd be looking for late game, and has more access to jewel slots.

I'm still not 100% on what other links to run. For the moment I would stick to hatred+discipline for auras, as you're only gaining a small flat amount of ele damage with the heralds (which you cannot proc their effects with traps) so I think those are a bit of a waste. Blasphemy seems pretty lackluster but I would consider swapping out discipline for something on blasphemy if my gear would allow for it.

All in all, my experience/observations with bladefall traps are that they do tons of damage on their own, enough to oneshot packs. That leaves the only challenge in delivering enough damage to bosses etc, which I think the poison scaling will be better off instead of a crit route. Since you're sort of limited in how traps work, the dice roll of crit feels worse than the rather impressive damage on the poison dot (which double dips all over the tree).

If you get around to it let me know what you think.
