GGG forces us to play chicken mode

Hi all mates

Yesterday i was farming with my lvl 84 ES witch. She clears very slow, but is tanky (0% physical reduction apart from granites, but 75% resistances, over 11K es and over 1.200 es regen per second via Zealoth's oath, plus ranged), so i can have a relaxed gameplay.

Phantasmagoria map (lvl 71), NARROW corridors. All of a sudden, while i was in a very narrow passage, i was rammed by black rhoas FROM FRONT AND FROM BEHIND (how the fuck am i supposed to move away???? -.- ), rohas summoned FROM OFFSCREEN, but thanks to regen i survided. Pop one of my two granites (granite of adrenaline), and while i was destroying rohas (es already back to maximum).... ONE SHOT!!!! One shotted FROM OFFSCREEN AS USUAL (ggg, you NEVER learn from your mistakes!!!!) by a "spray" of a million "shards".
I re entered the area, and carefully lure the rohas. Killed all of them. Then, FROM OFFSCREEN (SECOND offscreen), another time the spray!!! Close call (less than 500 es remaining from 11k), i survived only because the spray was this time fired "spread". So i take cover behind a "rock", regained ALL ES with zealoth oath, popped my topaz (i heard lightning like sound effect in those shards) and go in battle. Spray another time, but this time "in array". Many crits, ONE SHOT WITH TOPAZ!!!!!! And another time FROM OFFSCREEN (THIRD offscreen)!!!!


What is this shit???? Just HOW would be a LIFE BASED EXILE, with a normal life pool (4-5-6k), supposed to survive with only maxed resistances, if a toon with 11k es + topaz dies in one hit?

With a Saffell??? NO, because many life toons, if are melee, are FORCED to play TWO HANDED, because the damage of the AFFORDABLE 1h weapons just SUCKS, and OR you have hundreds of exalts to buy the REAL weapons (loath bane ambusher for example), OR you can just FORGOT A SHIELD.

With a purity??? NO, because many life toons, if are melee, are FORCED to play with hatred and herald of ash, because the damage of the AFFORDABLE weapons just SUCKS, and OR you have hundreds of exalts to buy the REAL weapons (gale bane foil for example, or foe smasher mallet), OR you can just FORGOT A PURITY.

I was building (and having a lot of fun) a sweep 2h marauder, but i think that i will abandon the "project" because all of this shit. Well, THIS is the result of BAD GAME DESIGN!!!!
For the record, yesterday i lost a total of 25% exp (died 3 times starting from 25%) against that stupid revenant boss, and HOW i finally killed it?

GO TO HIDEOUT
TAKE TABULA RASA
TAKE SUMMON RAGING SPIRIT
TAKE A BUNCH OF UNLEVELED "MORE" GEMS
GO TO MAP
LET SRS SOAK ALL THE PROJECTILES
WAIT 10 MINUTES, AND A BOSS WITH "ONLY" THE LIFE POOL OF GODZILLA DIED


So i am asking: is THIS the way ggg is forcing us to play? THE CHICKEN MODE???? The "SUMMON A TOTEM FROM OFFSCREEN"? The "TAKE COVER BEHIND MEAT/BONES SHIELDS (minions) OR DIE"???? Just WHY one time was safe to play ranged, and now you must play glass cannon offscreen shooting bow, or minion shielding chicken mode???? -.-

What a shame to be forced to play summoner when, like me, you DON'T like summons -.-

You are not "forced" to take these actions. You choose to take these actions because you find them successful. You don't see that there are plenty of other options available to you.

Yes i should have added "" on forced

But the thing remains: i have tryed various toons (most of them deleted in rage quits), and NOTHING seems to work at 100%. The ONLY thing that works, is the combo incinerate+regen, but even in this case, there are ALWAYS the damn offscreen one shooting mobs (like yestrday), the damn one billion mobs packs (pit barkhul, anyone???), the underpowered gems and weapons (unless you are very rich and can afford the REAL weapons and the corrupted, and rarest, + level gems/items)

I have many builds in mind, but the

AOE OR GO HOME

GLASS CANNON 1 BILLION DPS OR GO HOME

LOSE EXP FROM OFFSCREEN OR GO HOME

are really turning off this (and others, see the first page of feedback) player -.-

Hardcore is one thing, shitty is another. PoE is shitty, and in the videos i have posted, is clearly visible the difference (even in the "dragon" fight!!!!) between a rookie programmed game and a real game:

MORE SPACE TO MOVE

NO OFFSCREEN DEATHS

NO ONESHOTS (not even from a boss huge like a building, instead here we are one shotted with 11k es by a little spider)

It was a totally WHITE map, taken up for having a bit of fun and passing time.

EDIT: You did not get oneshot by even the boss in a white Phantasmagoria at 11k ES with Topaz flask active. I would be very surprised. Post a video to make me believe this.

BTW, I have two builds that fare very well against bosses up to lvl 78 maps (have not played a lot of higher maps, due to them hardly dropping). Malformation Piety sucks, but other than that... unless you are on a very laggy connection, you should maybe just really improve your playing skills.

I don't ever record when i play for avoiding more lags, you should believe me on word, i don't have some one that pays me real money for inventing things

Playing skills? Try YOU to talk of SKILLS when you DON'T SEE the boss and, all of a sudded, from whatever direction, AND FROM OFFSCREEN comes a sort of -------------------- well aligned projectiles that rips you even if you have a 86% res

Yes i too think that could be thunder and physical, but i don't really care anymore. If you could see my browser "speed dial", it is FULL of tree builds that i would really like to do, but i'm turning off...

For what purpose to work hard selling BILLIONS of (CRAPPY AS USUAL) rares and getting back alts shards, for slowly gaining a few chaos orbs, when the REAL weapons (i want a loath bane goddamn!!!! my 200pdps dagger SUCKED back in my previous reave build!!!! and the 400dps ones costs TWO eyes of the face) cost HUNDREDS of EXALTS????

For what purpose one can dream of slowly create a bunch of exalts (i never being able to stack up more than 4 before i needed them for buying things) when the REAL build enabling uniques costs 50 or more exalted (The Harvest Scythe!!!!!)

For what purpose to dream the extreme low life es regen (i don't tell how, otherwise THEY will NERF...AS USUAL!!! -.-), if a shitty spider stop to massacre you only because there are 17 raging spirits dying at your place? -.-
