Nerf Bino's

I'm sick of nerfing everything. Nerfs killed couple my builds already. Enough!!!

To OP:

So you want to ruin the fun for everyone because you already had yours? How nice of you.

I don't have any Bino's currently but I may decide to have one later or if RNG bleeses me with one that would be fine too.

This is the same thing what happened to Mjolner with the difference being that GGG wanted to do the nerf (and the did) instead of some random idgit.

Back then I was planning to get a Mjolner one day or was hoping for it to drop. Now I don't give a sh*t.

and Basically to all nerfs: JUST DON'T.

Dude, Mjolner was nerfed but it's 4 times as common and the builds you do with it is still the same. You use lightning strike or molten strike to get as many hits as possible so your socketed lightning gems go off as often as they can. The nerf to mjolner was noticable, but hardly had any effect on the builds using it at all.

And yeah I've used it, and it was fun, so I want as many people as possible to be able to use them, which is what nerfing it and MAKING IT A MORE COMMON DROP would do.

If you never nerfed anything, what would happen to balance? Buffing everything up instead of nerfing a few things is the opposite of what GGG has done for years.

Each league has more Binos than players demand it anyway.

People still need to sufficiently argument why they want this weapon nerfed.

And to do so we would require the exact passive tree and mechanical changes to poison.

In short, pointless thread with baseless premise is pointless.

Binos is a really powerful weapon but you can double its damage with a rare, you can instant leech on crit off that double damage which makes the regen of binos pretty meaningless as a sacrifice. Its not an item you would see in a top end build atm and thats a good spot for a unique given its also actually used, its a good item. Thats my take on it.

To be a powerful item that can enable a build But, A well rolled Rare could replace it later?

Which would be exactly what Bino's is.. A strong Unique that is build enabling yet can be replaced with a really nice rare weapon later on. Certainly no where near OP and like you said.. Theres TONS of mirrored weapons that blow the doors off of Bino's.. Hell theres plenty of Daggers out there that are not even mirrored or mirror worthy that will out do a Bino's. Especially Vagan Daggers. Hell if i have to choose between a Bino's and Vagan dagger just half ass rolled ill take the Vagan dagger for sure.

Im with Snorkle... good item but no where near OP to the point it needs a nerf.. i would say its just fine as is.

I dont think you understand the difference between mechanically broken and strong.

Binos is strong, items like Mjolner, Volls Devtion, Scolds, Emberwake, Aegis, those are examples of items that are mechanically broken. It doesnt matter how hard you nerf them because they are mechanically broken.

I literally applaud the unique item designers that got their mechanically broken items through design AND testing.

Aegis still gives you god mode even though they nerfed it by quite a bit. Why is no one talking about it ? Oh because Aegis has nothing to do with the Poison Changes being announced.

So, because leech is crap, the next best thing (Life regen) is OP now? Bino's gives good regen sure, but not OP regen. I bet you are also of the opinion that because armor is in a good state that it is OP and needs to be nerfed.

Sorry, if this seems hostile. I just don't get why an item with mediocre DPS but good utility is OP.
