Well you locked my thread and told me to post here. Can I have my atziri set back? thanks. It it not nice losing currency to something that was in no way my fault. Highly doubt I will get refunded, but figured i would try

I am logging in from a new location and it keeps saying password in not correct but i know it is, so instead of fighting the system I reset the password so I definitely know what it is but still cannot log in....suggestions????

Unfortunately we are not able to restore items to players for any reason. Doing so can have damaging effects on the game's economy. I am truly sorry to hear that this has happened and if you have any further questions please feel free to email us at "Support@grindinggear.com".

got another frozen screen / disconnect today - result: one more death in hc ladder...

got connection problems, random DCs and frame drops in the last days too (as discribed in all the other posts and comments in this thread).
rly GGG, could you pls SERIOUSLY explain what actually happens with your equipment / servers or where ever the problems come from and why it still seems to be impossible to fix at least the heaviest problems?

i played so many different games in the last years (p2p AND f2p) and each game got its problems every now and then (lags, server issues, bugs and so on - you all know for sure what i m talking about) but in POE it is NO LONGER a so called "inconvenience". it - in fact - gets more and more unplayable and it means absolutely no fun to me anymore because its almost useless to try the harder leagues and events in hc-mode. each try results in frustration over and over again caused by dc- or lag-deaths and server roll-backs (which often enough causes exp and item loss <--- extremely annoying especially in those shorter events like the 1-month-stuff and so on).

there are so many ppl out there who rly love and (wish to) enjoy this game, ppl who decide to support it with voluntary payments (including myself)...
... and they all got back a game that failed by technical problems over and over again?!

like so many (TOO many) gamers before i will stop supporting this game from now on. IMO there is no good reason anymore to spend time and money for it as long as i (we) cannot see any improvements which are REALLY suitable to fix (as i said above: "at least") the heaviest problems once and for all!

Are you saying that the server removing items due to error is not damaging to the economy, but restoring what was already in the economy is damaging to the economy?

The "any reason" is an interesting hard line policy because it's the game's fault and not the players fault. Your policy also places your virtual 'economy' above player satisfaction and support.

I think a more genuine reason that would stand a better chance at acceptance by the players affected is one where you admit that you don't have the support resources or the game functionality in place to handle such clams, and communicate to players that you're working toward a solution to handle issues that result from server error. I think players would accept that. "We're sorry" is bad for PR and it's a hard pill for players to swallow.
