Yeah, but thats not a build with a lioneye's and a random 6L chest. The gear linked earlier is not endgame gear.

A 6L coil with rathpith and a +max res SoL isnt "inexpensive" aswell. Thats like what, 25 ex worth of gear? However, thats not impossible to get or anything. There are also cheaper builds that can handle endgame.

6L is rather easy to come by in my experience.

Buy several coils with stats you are happy with-> 6 socket it -> fuse and if you hit 5L sell it with a small profit -> try again until you hit 6L. Not very expensive in my experience.

Also you don't need a max rolled rathpith. Just a descent one. Buy a few divine orbs + very poorly rolled rathpith is a solid strategy.

Max rolled Lightning Coil and Rathpith is not mandatory. Its just something you can eventually invest in once you reach a good amount of exalts.

Also the gear he linked should be able to clear a lvl 82 map. Lioneye's Chest is just fine. Free 7-L with 100+ hp. Pretty solid.

The bow could be better rolled but a well rolled Lioneye's Bow can reach just over 350 pdps which is more than enough to clear the endgame. Still 330 pdps (which is his bow) is decent and more than enough. So yeah - Its endgame gear if you measure it by its ability to be able to clear endgame content.

And it has been stated over and over throughout this thread: You don't need exceptional gear to clear endgame content.

And finally for as a response to what you wrote in another comment:
I have über atziri on another bow build that did lower damage and had lower life than my lvl 98 ranger so I am sure she could it. As for the lvl 82 bosses - no reason to try them as long as your are not lvl 100. Risk of loosing 10% xp vs. reward is not good enough for to even bother to try.

yes, endgame maps are endgame. Endgame doesnt mean the 1 hardest monster in the entire game. Malachai and Uber are not "the endgame" they are part of it. Etup didnt hit lvl100 in tempest hardcore league by never playing endgame content, the moment he got out of the quest content and started playing endgame maps he was playing endgame, thats what it means.

Sure, not OP and mirror worthy, but enough to get you going in the end-game.

How? Simple (in theory) - knowing what to pick up and might sell, use poe.trade and Acquisition to sell your stuff. This is really big part of it, because you must know what kind of affix combinations (and tiers) are good on rare items. Also, knowing a good base, what items are worth linking, socketing, etc.
Use the "Online tab", don't overprice your stuff (going lower is always better, than sitting on your stuff forever).
Without any trading involved, getting your end-game stuff, playing 4-5 a day is pretty much impossible.

Also, I'll note that I played nowhere near "optimal" or FOTM builds - all of the builds I played this league were made by my, and are far from being "great" - just ok to what I wanted them to do. :P

And since you say you are a trader, that is really really horrible to have gotten in the temp league. Are you sure you are doing it right?

I did endgame with those, no problem. Endgame is not grinding level 82 maps, to your information. And again, I STATED that they are NOWHERE NEAR OPTIMAL OR FOTM (you <beeep>).
Also, please show us what you've gotten in temp leagues.

Dailies alone are 20 fuses/day (which are not that hard to farm) - my very first 6link was with Vorici, because I was so scared of getting terrible RNG (in the end, it turned out my RNG is pretty good :D)

And yeah, Glare is still a really solid bow. There is no much other choice of bow for my build, because I can't quite spare points for accuracy, nor critical strike. DPS is solid enough, and "always hits" works wonders with Pierce inside of Vision, not to mention ability to ignore all accuracy.
I sure could get better rare bow, which would have more DPS than Glare, even with poor accuracy, but this enough for ENDGAME which are MAPS IN GENERAL. Endgame being only 82 maps or Uber Atziris is beyond stupid.

Currently is the best time for new players actually.

Well, in standard at least.
In temp leagues they have to deal with popular defensive items (Coil / Aegis / Rathpith) droprate reduction.
Prices on most uniques dropped extremely low during the last half a year, and especially after recent droprate increase.
Shavs for 10ex?
Bino for 2? two?!
Mjolner for 9?

I remember the time when Bino was 12, worst rolls.

Not that long ago new Mjolners were 30+ex.
Even most 6-links are incredibly cheap right now.

You can extremely easily gear up your character now, for cheap.

lol, its true actually, I found a binos and a lightning coil yesterday in standard. Binos was an amazing roll, gonna list it for 2.5ex, the lightning coil, t1 rarity bis chest armour, probably the best unique chest in the game, I was going to vendor it tbh. Its sat in my currency tab atm but would anyone even buy a non legacy coil? Last time I checked you could still get a 40% coil for 1 chaos, I dont think I could even sell a 30% coil at any price.

- look for a cheap build to start with

- farm lower maps with rarity and quantity items and higher maps with ur dmg-gear

while Belly and Queen Of The Forest are basically awesome stat sticks, Defiance is a mechanics chest that definitely rivals the awesomeness of Lightning Coil.

Not so exciting Lioneye's Vision linking story

The linked Lioneye's Vision 6linked using like total of 20 fuses, and 40 Armorer Scraps - I used 18 Fuses, and then friend told me to "use scraps, because they help. I was like "meh, whatever, I don't even have enough of these to make it worth it". But I try it anyways. After second "scrap"-fuse, I get a 6link. Not a single 5-link, nothing. :DD
