Want PoE to be a competitive market simulation all good.
But if it's the way you want to follow integrate your tools and deny third party or it has nothing competitive and fair for any players. That's what is commonly called a massive SCAM.

Kinda illogical the behaviour difference between eternal and scouring with metamods ...

And kinda worrying that some users are scanning the whole database to intercept mirror and exalts drop to lowball everyone... Seriously the inventory should remain secret for everyone.

I would like to alarm devs and the community about a probable bug, which brings that result:

Just to fast prove what happened: blue amulet with mastercrafted mode should not exist by any means according to the game mechanics, further step by step explanation on what happened is on reddit post.

You forgot a couple of steps there.

- Since the prices are so high compared to the buying power, items won't sell.
- People will be forced to sell GG items at a cheaper price unless they want it to rot in their stash.
- Free market corrects itself
- More people have access to good gear.

Let me explain to you why it wont work one by one:

1) Since the prices are so high compared to the buying power, items won't sell.

Lets say that i have Alphas Howl for sale. I price it as currently for 2 Exalts, bcoz i need these exalts to craft something GG. It's only valueable item i have.
There is a shortage of supply for Exalts bcoz everyone is buyin them to craft and buy end-game items. Its very very daubtful that if i sold them for chaos equivalent i would be ANY closer to my goal (crafting GG item with exalts) than i was before selling the item. Ive gained nothing and lost my only way to gain 2 exalts. Why lost this possibility ? Bcoz market is in such shortage of exalts it would take weeks to convert these chaoses to exalts. Strikes AGAIN problem with some group of ppl manipulating market and buyin every possible exalt to craft sellable endgame gear for profit.

2)People will be forced to sell GG items at a cheaper price unless they want it to rot in their stash.

For mid-tier items it might be true, but for endgame items its highly daubtful. Same problem was discussed with forsaken masters introduction and nothing has changed. GG bows crafted and stashed were never sold or sold for 10+ exalts. Price of these items NEVER dropped below average for entire temporary leagues period. It even went up after Elreon mod price change.

3)Free market corrects itself

Free market in RL balances out on average. Not PoE market, it was highly manipulated past two leagues and there is high possibility the same will happen in next leagues also.

4)More people have access to good gear

This was debunked so hard that its pointless to explain but ill do so either way:

People will have better chance to acquire mid-tier gear ( nothing new here), but you need these items for what? 20 levels ? Later on you seek for upgrades for these mid items, and you reach point where some items are just BIS. Those BIS items will always be priced in Exalts and the we are closing the loop.

How im sure im right ?
After Elreon mod was introduced everyone was so pomped about it and said same stuff that everything will be easier to acquire. But HEY your free market strikes again and people that use this free market. Elreon crafted items bcoz Exalts are required to even create them are sold with many many exalt tags.
With chaoses being most common currency in trade from the player point of view with increases to exalt value, their purchasing power gets SMALLER AND SMALLER each time chaos:ex ratio rises.

The market behaviours exacly how majority of ppl think. And it seems like majority already knows we are F^^ked for every new temporary league that will be introduced.

After buyin only items i need on standard im going to give 0 shits. But i can forsee exodus to permament leagues bcoz of stability

OR

same pattern like always :
- start on new league
- get as much exalts as you can on start
- cash in
- go back to perm waiting for temp to end
